"Das Gute Vorweg: Die Örtlichkeiten sind traumhaft, unser Zimmer war fantastisch eingerichtet und sauber, das Personal äusserst freundlich. Und der Poolbereich und die sehr ruhige, abgeschiedene und vermeintlich erholsame Umgebung - die Gründe, weshalb wir dort unser Zimmer gebucht hatten - eigentlich ein einziger Traum. Nur: Wir konnten unseren Aufenthalt kaum richtig geniessen. Es gab in unserer Wohneinheit Casale Collemorco einige Gäste mit insgesamt vier grossen Hunden, was für uns grundsätzlich kein Problem gewesen wäre, hätte es Regeln gegeben oder die Hundebesitzer hätten mehr Rücksicht genommen. Wir fanden am Pool kaum Ruhe und Entspannung und fühlten uns massiv eingeschränkt: Dauerendes Hundegebelle und Herumgerenne der Hunde, Gäste die ihre Hunde unbedingt mit in den Pool nehmen wollten... Wir nutzten den Pool und den ganzen Bereich deshalb nur eingeschränkt. Auch hat ein Hund mehrmals den Weg in unser Zimmer gesucht, kaum hatten wir die Türe kurz geöffnet. Sooooo schade, denn wir hätten dem Ressort sonst 5 ganze und volle Sterne geben können und auch wollen. Aber leider konnten wir wegen der oben genannten Gründen nicht das tun und geniessen wofür wir hergekommen waren. Gerne werden wir unsere Kritikpunkte auch gegenüber dem Personal im Detail erläutern."

"Terrible. Old and not very well maintained structure. Narrow and absolutely not soundproofed rooms. I had a single room above the reception and attached to the elevator. I slept practically 4 hours in three nights because until two in the morning and from six onwards there was a constant noise, between the elevator that rang every time someone went up or down, the sloshing of people on the stairs, and the mess of check-ins at the reception it was truly impossible. When I pointed out this serious inconvenience saying that it was unacceptable to let someone sleep in a room like that, given the not cheap price, the person at the reception offered me as a "refund" for the inconvenience caused me the two bottles of water that I had consumed. Unacceptable."

"Am letzten (der Tag des Aufenthalts). Angesichts des besonders niedrigen Preises und der Bewertungen manchmal nicht gerade am oberen Rand dachte ich, ich würde eine ganz andere Situation bekommen. Ich war wunderbar überrascht. Sehr freundliches und kompetentes Personal. reichhaltiges und variierendes Frühstück. Rein und geräumiges Zimmer. Hintergrund ein wenig, aber sehr gemütlich."

"Torre Palombara is in a beautiful part of the Umbrian countryside, a short drive to the Marmore waterfalls, Narni, Spoleto and many small medieval towns. It has air conditioned rooms, a pool and we ate breakfast each morning on a patio overlooking verdant fields and hills. The rooms are comfortable and the entire villa is tastefully decorated. Leonardo, his wife and sweet 2 children are lovely! Leonardo offered us many useful suggestions and is clearly passionate about his home (which has been in the family since the 1500’s) and about his region. Thank you Leonardo for making our stay so pleasant and for all your assistance!"
