Lopota Lake Resort & Spa

It was the best place I visited here. All was good The only problem was with Trip.com. I booked full board - and i get only breakfast

It’s was a beautiful resort, They have many swimming pool and many restaurants and many activities 😍👍, but the resort far from the city:)

This place is stunning. We visited midweek for one night as a family. It wasn’t busy and all the staff were friendly and attentive. Front desk staff was very welcoming and check in was a breeze. The standard family room is large and well equipped. The bed wasn’t as comfortable as it should be, perhaps and mattress topper can be added to make it softer. We had full board so we had all 3 meals in the Dining Hall. The food selection is great and its tasty. I do wish they include the other restaurants in the full board options maybe with subsidy. Chateau Buera is simply magical. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to everyone visiting the area.

This is one of the best resorts I’ve experienced. It’s exceptionally clean, and everything you need is on-site, so there’s no need to venture out. A few tips: - It’s a good idea to bring some snacks along as there are no nearby supermarkets. - If you plan to stay, I highly recommend Building 15 if you’ve booked a suite. Suite 15202 offers the best view, with both lake and mountain scenery. - I suggest skipping the full-board option, as there are better restaurants in the resort. I tried the Georgian and Italian restaurants; both were good, though the Italian food was a bit salty. - If you’re a fan of specialty coffee, bring your own. The coffee here is decent but not exceptional. - The buggy tour was underwhelming. Opt for the four-wheeler motorcycle instead for a more enjoyable experience. - The spa is exceptional. I highly recommend the therapist Tedo (Nukri), whose 30+ years of experience really shine through. - Keep in mind, the drive from Tbilisi is around 3 hours and from the airport about 2.5 hours. Though the drive can be tedious, the resort is well worth the trip. - If possible, arrange for a driver through a reputable agency, as the resort's local drivers may not have well-maintained cars—one of ours didn’t even have air conditioning. - For coffee, try the Old Bar—it’s the best option at the resort, though still not great. However, their hot chocolate is amazing!

A great resort built around the lake with a lack of service standards. Never seen a place where even Tabasco sauce and vinegar is charged extra . The first thing the staff says is a no. Good Italian and Georgian food at the restaurant. The shuttle service is a mess

The hotel is in wood shape, the food average quality to low . Much to less for a resort like this . Stay away from here! This food at this prices is inaccurate. You cannot reccomento anybody staying here with these prices and low quality of food. The service is miserable as well and nobody cares

This is what arriving on your dream vacation feels like: peace, beauty, relaxation, extensive grounds with activities for everyone, numerous pools, tennis courts, restaurants… The spa treatment with a view was wonderful too we will certainly come back!!

There is only one problem in Lopota - one day one needs to leave. It is a true heaven. All is on the levels above the expectation. A lot of different outdoor activities, spa is also great, heated swimming pools are very good especially in October when it’s already not too hot during the day. Fantastic place

Our family has stayed here 17 days during 2022 and 2023 and overall it is a wonderful setting for a great vacation. The only reason I do not give it five stars is that the communication from the Lopota Resorts Headquarters in Tbilisi for reservations is very poor and unprofessional. It takes them sometimes 4 days to reply to an email and they do not read the emails carefully which gives the impression that they want to get rid off your customer requests quickly. Their customer service at the HQ reservations is unprofessional, rude, not rational nor flexible to accommodate guests. To obtain 5 stars the resort would also need to have better mattresses as the ones we have had during our 3 stays here have been quite worn out in the queen sized mattresses. Asking for a late checkout (1PM instead of noon) we were given an extra 30 minutes which felt odd. 2 hours should be adequate time to clean a room. However, the positives of the place are great. Beautiful scenery, clean place (thanks to all the hard working employees at the resort), excellent food. The friendliness of the staff members varies. At the restaurant Dining Hall the staff members are professional, polite, attentive and great. The cleaning service is excellent and the drivers of the electric busses great! This resort has a lot of activities for the children (swimming, kindergarten, football, basketball, horses, trampoline… you name it, they have it). Thanks for a wonderful stay! Highly recommended, from Finland
