"My experience at this inn was great. My daughter Erica and I stayed here overnight August 18-19. First off, we didn’t drive in but there is a free shuttle bus downtown that takes you right to the corner, a few feet away from the inn. Now for the inn itself. It was lovely. We had one of the rooms upstairs with a private bathroom. As soon as you walk into the room you see that it looks like it belongs on an island. It’s done up in a seaside motif with cool and calming tones of blue and white with seashells and the like. Next, but most important, was the cleanliness. You could feel and see the clean. I didn’t even feel a desire to whip out my Lysol wipes and sanitizer. The hosts were so thoughtful. They had complimentary ice cold orange juice in the refrigerator for us along with different kinds of snacks and good coffee. Also complimentary. In the hall there is a microwave and even more snacks. At the front entrance there are some other snacks and drinks that you can pay for at a small price using the honesty system. And yet still there is a free bowl of fruit there also. I’ve arrived at hotels starving and unable to get food immediately. That was not a problem here. They also provided toothbrushes, toothpaste and mouthwash. The good stuff. They also had a variety of streaming services and regular tv. They thought of everything. I slept so good here. If I go back to Nantucket this is where I’ll be staying. I highly recommend this place. FYI-I think the shuttle bus is not going to be free starting in 2026. But even if you have to pay it’s a convenient option if you don’t want to drive. There are shuttles that I believe take you to just about anywhere you want to go on the island."

"We had a fabulous pre-season visit to the Wauwinet where Sean Burpee and his team lived up to everything we've come to expect from Relais & Chateaux properties: top-quality service, decor and cuisine. The real advantage of the Wauwinet is its location, away from the tourists and crowds of downtown. We made use of the hotel's well-maintained bikes and had a great trip to 'Sconset and its bluff footpath overlooking the Atlantic. The regular shuttle service to downtown makes it easy to get to other island offerings like the Whaling Museum where we spent several hours learning about the island's fascinating history. Our 4-course dinner at Toppers made creative use of local seafood and produce. The amuse bouche on its own was like a fifth course and revealed Kyle Zachary's innovative style. Great wine recommendation from sommelier Jason Irving. Wonderful way to welcome spring and recharge the batteries with quiet walks along Wauwinet's pristine beach and cycling excursions on excellent bike paths."

Zimmer waren komfortabel und die Badezimmer gut ausgestattet. Dusche Wasserdruck war erstaunlich. Bett war komfortabel. Das Frühstück von Charles war lecker. Frisches Obst, frisch gemacht Quiche, Brioche, frittata. Kaffee/Teebar ist Tag und gemütliches Feuer im Speisesaal."

"We had to book a last minute overnight stay in Nantucket due to bad weather & canceled ferries back to Hyannis. It can be tough when you’re traveling as a family of 4 to find enough space for everyone to have a bed for the night. But this beautiful home offers a large studio on the top floor with 2 twin size beds on one end and a king bed on the other end of the room. There’s a large bathroom with a walk in shower and a large sink & mini fridge. The beds were very comfortable with luxury linens and blankets. The hosts Forrest & Giuseppe were extremely hospitable and accommodating for our stay. We would love to return for a longer stay since this home is less than a 10 min walk to the ferry & very close to all restaurants and shops!"

"Wir verbrachten 2 Nächte hier in einem Insel Deluxe Zimmer. Unser Zimmer war komfortabel, sauber und ruhig. Ich dachte, das Zimmer sah persönlich besser aus als online. Unser Zimmer umfasste einen Kühlschrank & Mikrowelle. Das Hotel ist charmant und gut gepflegt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, vor allem Front Desk & Klopfen/Schiffsfahrer. Wir genossen unsere Mahlzeiten im Hotel. Mittagessen auf der Vordergrundseite war schön. Die untere Ebene verfügt über eine sehr schöne Atmosphäre für das Aushängen, plus schönes Fitnesszentrum, Spa & Selbstbedienung Waschbecken. (Es schien, dass die WD erforderliche Münzen. Keine Kreditkarten akzeptiert. Ein Dollarwechselmaschine war verfügbar.) Das Hotel ist 5-min Fahrt vom Fähren. Wir verwendeten das Hotel’s Two Island Package, um Fähren, Transport und Hotelzimmer (2 Nächte hier & 2 bei Schwestereigentum auf Martha’s Vineyard, Winnetu zu buchen). Dieses Paket machte es super einfach, beide Inseln von Hyannis zu besuchen. Ein Familienpool und ein Erwachsener Pool sind verfügbar. Der Erwachsenenpool hat sehr bequem Sitz. Meine einzige kleine Enttäuschung ist, dass Musik im Erwachsenenpool gespielt wird, was für mich nicht zu Entspannung und Lesen geführt hat. Also bewegte ich mich zum Familienpool, der ironischerweise ruhiger war. Wandern rund um die Stadt war einfach. Wir nahmen eine 90-min Tour der Insel und besuchten das gut gemachte Walers Museum, zusammen mit dem Hawden House & Old Jail. Ich genossen Eis im Juice Bar. Ich würde hier nochmal bleiben."
