"My experience at this inn was great. My daughter Erica and I stayed here overnight August 18-19. First off, we didn’t drive in but there is a free shuttle bus downtown that takes you right to the corner, a few feet away from the inn. Now for the inn itself. It was lovely. We had one of the rooms upstairs with a private bathroom. As soon as you walk into the room you see that it looks like it belongs on an island. It’s done up in a seaside motif with cool and calming tones of blue and white with seashells and the like. Next, but most important, was the cleanliness. You could feel and see the clean. I didn’t even feel a desire to whip out my Lysol wipes and sanitizer. The hosts were so thoughtful. They had complimentary ice cold orange juice in the refrigerator for us along with different kinds of snacks and good coffee. Also complimentary. In the hall there is a microwave and even more snacks. At the front entrance there are some other snacks and drinks that you can pay for at a small price using the honesty system. And yet still there is a free bowl of fruit there also. I’ve arrived at hotels starving and unable to get food immediately. That was not a problem here. They also provided toothbrushes, toothpaste and mouthwash. The good stuff. They also had a variety of streaming services and regular tv. They thought of everything. I slept so good here. If I go back to Nantucket this is where I’ll be staying. I highly recommend this place. FYI-I think the shuttle bus is not going to be free starting in 2026. But even if you have to pay it’s a convenient option if you don’t want to drive. There are shuttles that I believe take you to just about anywhere you want to go on the island."

"We absolutely loved our stay here. From the moment we arrived, it was clear how much thought and attention to detail goes into making guests feel welcome and comfortable. The property is beautiful, with fantastic artwork throughout and a cozy patio area. It offers a peaceful place to relax away from the bustle of town while still being only about a five minute walk to all the shops and restaurants. What really set this place apart were all the little touches: beach towels and robes readily available, cookies in the evening, s’mores, and countless other thoughtful amenities that made the stay feel special. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the innkeeper was especially warm, accommodating, and genuinely invested in making sure we had a great experience."

Seven Sea Street Inn

"Ausgezeichnete Lage. Sehr nahe dem Fähren und der Innenstadt. Mietwagen/ Fahrrad weniger als einen Block entfernt. Das Inn liegt auf einer ruhigen Straße. Zimmer waren komfortabel und die Badezimmer gut ausgestattet. Dusche Wasserdruck war erstaunlich. Bett war komfortabel. Das Frühstück von Charles war lecker. Frisches Obst, frisch gemacht Quiche, Brioche, frittata. Kaffee/Teebar ist Tag und gemütliches Feuer im Speisesaal."

"The Centerboard is a perfect place and has a wealth of history and heritage.  The room was in perfect condition.  The king bed was firm but also comfy and allowed me to sleep comfortably.  The Porch was an excellent place to sit and plan our walks to the downtown area.  Only 8-10 minutes away  Gary & Zita"

"Wir waren im Nantucket Hotel für eine Hochzeit. Was für eine tolle Erfahrung! Die Hotelzimmer und Suiten sind sehr gut ausgestattet. Das Personal ist exemplifiziert. Ferry pick up Service, Hausbetreuungspersonal, Esspersonal sind alle Top-Noch. Wenn Sie ein Fähre abholen, müssen Sie sicher erwähnen, welche Fähre Sie auf und geduldig sein, wie der Verkehr auch während der Schultersaisonen kann schwierig sein. Das Concierge-Personal ist sehr kompetente und hilfsbereit. Sie behandeln ihre Gäste wie Familie!! Das Hotel ist sehr ruhig. Die Hochzeitsrezeption war im Hotel und alles schien fehlerlos zu gehen. Die Familie hatte keinen Hochzeitsplaner. Das Personal schien sehr responsiv und lief wie eine gut geölte Maschine!"

Life House, Nantucket

"DO NOT STAY HERE - Please Read Before Booking ——————————————————————————————- I normally do not write reviews, but after my experience at Life House in Nantucket, I feel compelled to share my dissatisfaction and STRONGLY URGE everyone to avoid staying here when in Nantucket. First, I was promised a 15% discount when I booked over the phone, but it was never applied to my final bill. When I called to resolve this, the manager was hostile, raised prices within a minute of the booking, and then claimed the discount was included. Nice customer service, right? To make matters worse, I was DOUBLE CHARGED out of nowhere, two months in advance of our stay. It took multiple calls to get the issue resolved. Why did I get double charged in the first place? If I hadn’t caught it, I would have paid an additional $3,700. Upon arrival, it quickly became clear that this was far from a luxury experience. The hostess greeted us with surprise, almost as if she wasn’t expecting us. When I inquired about our room, she reluctantly informed us that it wasn’t the best. We walked three flights up to find that we had been assigned the wrong room. I had booked a Deluxe Queen room but was given a Standard Queen instead. The room was tiny—200 square feet at most—with barely enough space for our luggage. The room itself had several issues. There was no iron or lockbox, amenities I expected at a luxury B&B. Worse, the SHEETS WERE DIRTY upon our arrival and were NEVER CHANGED during our entire 3-night stay. The Apple TV in the room was unusable due to preset configurations, so we couldn’t even watch a movie at night. To top it off, the Apple TV remote was filthy. 5-Bullet Review: • Extremely high prices for a cheap experience; I was double charged as well. • Unclean room and products. • Wrong room assigned, much smaller than what was booked. • Missing amenities: no iron, no lockbox, no welcome note, nothing complementary except one bottle of wine for the entire building, non-complementary bike service. • Poor customer service and unresolved issues with management. Given the reputation and price of this hotel, I expected much better service and attention to detail. I strongly advise potential guests to reconsider and avoid giving any of their money to this corporation, especially since I’ve heard there’s been a recent change of ownership. Thank you"
