Ehrlich gesagt waren der Gastgeber und die Tante sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Umgebung war jedoch wirklich unattraktiv. Dies war vielleicht mein erster Aufenthalt in einem B&B, daher bin ich mir nicht sicher, ob alle B&Bs so sind. Die Zimmerausstattung war unglaublich veraltet, insbesondere das Badezimmer. Der Toilettendeckel war kurz davor abzufallen, aus dem Duschkopf tropfte überall Wasser und das Waschbecken war unglaublich klein und komplett ohne Verstopfung. Mein Ohrring fiel versehentlich ab, als ich mir das Gesicht wusch, und das Wasser strömte einfach herunter. Der Ablaufschlauch ließ sich leicht abnehmen und wieder anschließen. Der Boden war auch unsauber; es schien, als würden sie nur täglich den Müllbeutel wechseln, und ich musste den Boden jeden Tag mit meinem Einweghandtuch wischen. In einem Zimmer mit so einem schmutzigen Boden zu leben, war unerträglich. Ehrlich gesagt, ich teile meine Erfahrung. Jeder Mensch ist anders, aber meine ganze Familie war nicht sehr zufrieden. Wer Wert auf Sauberkeit legt, sollte sorgfältig auswählen.

Antwort der Unterkunft: Vielen Dank, dass Sie sich für einen Aufenthalt in unserer Gastfamilie entschieden und sich die Zeit genommen haben, uns zu bewerten und Fotos zu machen. Erstens hat das Zimmermädchen nicht nur scheinbar täglich die Müllbeutel gewechselt, sondern auch vier Flaschen Wasser und Vorräte bereitgestellt und den Boden gewischt. Zweitens sind viele der von Ihnen erwähnten Probleme, wie auf den Bildern zu sehen, schlicht und ergreifend auf den alten Bodenbelag zurückzuführen (im Umkreis von 100 Metern um den Konfuzius-Tempel befinden sich überwiegend Altbauwohnungen), der zu sichtbaren Mängeln führt. Sie haben nichts mit mangelnder Hygiene zu tun. Es gab kein Papier, keine Haare oder anderen Schmutz, abgesehen von kleinen Staubpartikeln (schließlich waren Sie drei Nächte hier, daher sind ein paar Staubpartikel im Zimmer normal). Wir haben außerdem folgende Änderungen vorgenommen: 1. Inspektion und Aktualisierung der Einrichtung: Bezüglich der von Ihnen erwähnten Probleme mit dem Toilettensitz und dem Duschkopf haben wir einen Techniker beauftragt, der diese morgen verstärkt und austauscht. Auch das Waschbecken haben wir kürzlich ausgetauscht. Abflüsse und Filter: Wir haben alle Abflussanschlüsse gründlich auf ihre Sicherheit überprüft. Wir haben außerdem im Waschbecken von Zimmer 303 einen Filter installiert, um zu verhindern, dass ähnliche kleine Gegenstände herunterfallen. Unsere Zimmermädchen werden morgen kommen, um die kleinen Flecken an den Wänden zu reinigen (ein kleines Problem aufgrund des jüngsten Anstiegs der Sommergäste). Wir werden eine gründliche und schnelle Reinigung durchführen. Was den alten Bodenbelag betrifft, werden wir den Bodenbelag und den Teppichboden in Kürze komplett neu verlegen. 2. Verbesserung der Reinigungsstandards: Vielen Dank für Ihr positives Feedback zum Service des Zimmermädchens! Das Zimmermädchen führt während des Aufenthalts der Gäste tägliche Reinigungsarbeiten durch, darunter Müllentsorgung, Bettenmachen, Abwischen und Wischen von Oberflächen. Wir werden diese Routine weiter verbessern. Vielen Dank für Ihren Besuch.

Great location, maybe a little bit noisy (from the surrounding streets) during evenings and mornings but worth it to be located in the center of Fuzimiao area. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and we even got a free upgrade to a better room. We got to wash and dry our laundry for free. Strongly recommend!

My friends recommended this homestay I booked in Nanjing during the holiday, and it was really a very satisfying stay. It's very close to the Confucius Temple, and we walked to many attractions in Nanjing from there, experiencing the local food, beautiful scenery, and the lively atmosphere up close. The area is bustling and full of energy—we will cherish these memories and would love to come back again if given the chance.

Bookstore Homestay offers a charming literary atmosphere and an excellent location near Nanjing’s Confucius Temple. The rooms are cozy, clean, and thoughtfully decorated, creating a relaxing space with plenty of character. However, travelers should be aware that there is morning construction noise in the surrounding area, which may disturb light sleepers. The toilet windows have no curtains and lack privacy, which may make some guests uncomfortable. It would be much better if could add curtains or frosted film to improve bathroom privacy. Staff members are warm and helpful, and the homestay’s cultural vibe remains a highlight. Overall, it’s a unique and enjoyable stay, but the morning construction may affect those seeking complete quiet.

The location is unbeatable since it is a few walking minutes away from the Confucius Temple, which is surrounded by beautiful shops and restaurants. This stay was in a cute bookstore, and we were greeted by a lovely couple, very kind, very warm. The room 101 was located in the ground floor and we were really grateful since we didn't have to carry the luggage to a second floor. I highly recommend this place and definitely would come back. Thanks for everything!

The person who host us is very helpful and very friendly. We arrived past midnight and not able to find the place, she came to find us. She also recommended delicious local food for us. The location of the property is very close to Fuzimiao station, and walking distance to Fuzimiao, which is one of the highlights of Nanjing city. Highly recommend this place to travellers.

The location couldn't be better, right by the #3 Subway Confucius Temple station, walking distance to lots of attractions. The husband and wife hosts were extremely helpful. I traveled with my 80 year old Mom. The wife host helped haul one of our luggages to the Subway station when we checked out. She gave us lots of recommendations and we particularly enjoyed the Hui (Halal) restaurant nearby.

I'd say it's the best place for you to start your trip in China! The host really welcomes you and provides all the things that you need. The room and surroundings are clean and comfy. It's only a walk away to the metro station so it's very convenient. I would love to stay back again on my next trip to Nanjing! 🌹

I really enjoyed staying here during my trip to Nanjing. Location is very convenient, a 3 minute walk from the Confucius Temple subway station. The room was simple yet spacious and clean, and they generously upgraded me to a double room. Amenities wise, they provided water, slippers, some basic toiletries, and I enjoyed perusing the shelf of Chinese picture books in the room. The clear highlight though was the service. The aunt and the uncle who look after the place were very friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. For instance, the uncle helped me to settle into my room upon arrival and to inquire about tickets to attractions, and I enjoyed chatting with him as well. Upon arrival, the aunt also provided a list of key attractions in the city, suggested itineraries, and nearby food recommendations. They also helped me store my luggage on the last day. If I come back to Nanjing, I will definitely stay here again!

I booked the hotel for my friends who went to travel China, Nanjing. This homestay was recommended by my British friends as it has close transportation links and the Confucius temple is nearby. The surrounding area is nice and peaceful.   My friends fell in love with Nanjing. If i ever go to Nanjing i would sure stay at this homestay.
