Very good hotel, very comfortable bed and the staff super friendly even not speaking a word of English we communicated very well using translator and they were so professional in assuring I will get the best experience. The shower had frear pressure, hot water, room was huge and clean! The hotel is in front of the subway station which was very convenient too!

We have stop over during Chinese new year National days. The location is very good, nice view from the hotel. The buffet has a lot of choices. Price is reasonable

Beim Betreten von Shangri-La kam ein vertrauter Atemzug herüber. Die Lobby, die Gästezimmer und das Restaurant sind so gut wie immer, und Shangri-La in Nanchang ist vor allem besser als die Landschaft. Frau Luo Tingting an der Rezeption arrangierte eigens ein Zimmer mit Blick auf den Brunnen für uns. Wir konnten die musikalische Brunnenaufführung genießen, ohne das Haus zu verlassen, und wir konnten auch den Tengwang-Pavillon auf der anderen Flussseite sehen. Das Morgenbuffet war auch recht gut und das Zimmer lieferte auch saisonale Früchte. Kurz gesagt, es war ein perfektes Erlebnis. Nochmals vielen Dank an Frau Luo.

Hotel seemed a bit dated but still nice. About a 10 minute walk to a mall with food and coffee options. Less than 10 minute walk to the subway station. Great views and wonderful breakfast! When we had a problem with one of the rooms, the staff was quick to help us change rooms. Good service, would stay there again.

Perfect place to stay within the budget. Walking distance to Honggu Middle Road Subway Station. Staff are very friendly, we requested some toiletries around 1 am and no hesitation they answered our request.

Positive points: The hotel is overall good. Good value for its price. The room was warm (travelled in winter) - even had to leave the window open. The WiFi connection was fast. You can use their washing machines for your laundry (2 RMB). Close to the Nanchang West Railway Station. Negative points: Very far from where all the fun is. The neighbourhood is quite new, apparently. Dead. Better to pay more and find a hotel in the city centre, as, anyway, you will spend the same money on taxis or waste more than an hour daily on public transportation (also need to walk about 1km from the subway station). The room was not very clean. The carpet under the bed looked horrible. Even saw someone's nail on it. A used toothpick on the floor in the toilet. There even was someone's snot on the wall in the shower. Lost 12 yuan when doing my laundry, as there's an ad popping up when you scan the QR code on the washing machine prompting you to pay 12 RMB. I can't read Chinese and didn't bother to check the translation as I didn't expect any other payment. The Front Desk hadn't warned me about it. I complained to Front Desk agent, who promised someone would get back to me on the matter the next day. Of course, nobody did. The service is sometimes slow. When you flush the toilet, the water splashes everywhere. Not very hygienic. The water in the shower at certain hours turns hot or cold every five to ten seconds - couldn't take a shower comfortably.
