Anthony, ein Trainer am Concierge, war super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Super Professionalität machte meinen Aufenthalt belohnend. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, aber das Zimmer WiFi war sehr schwach und kann nicht angeschlossen werden. Die Lage ist großartig und Restaurant Kilimanjaro, der Flussschifffahrtsstation ist nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt.

Zuerst: 1. Die Lage ist großartig 2. Einchecken war sehr glatt 3. Die Anlage hat die grünesten, die ich je gesehen habe, um das Eco-System zu ergänzen. 4. Mein Zimmer war sehr sauber 5. Die Anlage hat sehr freundliches Team. Großes Job! Anmerkung: Ich war im Zimmer D06 und die Toilette muss überprüft werden, es schien fehlerhaft.

Das Frühstücksbuffet hatte eine ausgezeichnete Auswahl und alles, was auf dem Angebot war genießbar. Das Personal war hilfreich und freundlich. Der Sicherheitsprozess und die Sicherheitstüren und den Zugang zu Karten nur ein wenig über dem Top scheinen, aber wir waren wirklich sicher. Wir genossen einen leckeren Weihnachtsabend auf der Obergeschoss des Hotels. Es war eine erstaunliche Erfahrung. Meine einzige Beschwerde ist, dass ich zwar die Klimaanlage auf und die Temperatur eingestellt hatte, um das Zimmer ein wenig zu kühlen, die Einheit lief während unseres zweitägigen Aufenthalts und nie das Zimmer kühlte oder die gewählte Temperatur erreichte. Auch das im Zimmertelefon funktionierte nicht. Ich bat eine Wartungsperson, zu kommen, um beide F-Fragen zu überprüfen und niemand kam je. Das Bett war sehr komfortabel und der moderne Stil des Zimmers war schön.

Gefallen · Das Hotel liegt in einem ruhigen Viertel etwas abseits vom Zentrum. Professionel freundlicher Empfang mit ”welcome” Getränk während des Check ins erinnerte uns mehr an ein 5 Sterne als an das gebuchte 4 Sterne Hotel. Dieser freundliche Service zog sich durch unseren ganzen Aufenthalt. Besonders im Restaurant wurden wir immer hervorragend bedient. Auch war man sehr bemüht unsere Extrawünsche beim Frühstück zu erfüllen. Das täglich wechselde Buffet war sehr vielfältig (siehe Bilder) und geschmacklich war für jeden etwas dabei. Wir haben jeden Abend unseres Aufenthalts dort gegessen. Besonders das Nachtischbuffet war ein Augenschmaus. Unser Zimmer war gut ausgestattet, es gab einen Gym und das Hotel macht insgesamt den Eindruck auf dem Weg zum 5 Sterne Hotel zu sein. Nicht gefallen · Das Zimmer hatte eine für uns ”zu weiche” Matratze - auf einen Hinweis bei Ankunft wurde sofort reagiert und eine nagelneue harte Matratze gebracht. Besser gehts nicht :-) Der Pool ist klein und könnte mal renoviert werden - ist sicher kein Badehotel. Wir haben ihn nicht benutzt. Joachim & Olive

Das Personal an den Four Points sind Hurlingham sind fantastisch. Sie sind hervorragend beim Kundenservice - das macht meine Aufenthalte erinnerebar. Die Dedikation und Pflege, die ich jedes Mal erhalten, wenn ich verbleibe, wird mich wieder zurückhalten. Jeden Tag, wenn ich auf der Arbeit gehe und zurückkomme, sehe ich mich von der Rezeption, Hauspflegepersonal, Sicherheitspersonal und mit einem Lächeln von Pablo’s Restaurantpersonal begrüßt (Faith ist außergewöhnlich angenehm). Die Qualität der Nahrung ist dank Chef Howard und seinem Team (einschließlich, aber nicht beschränkt auf Chef Dominic, Beryl, Clarice und Chef Danstand) am besten. Für meine jüngste Reise habe ich mich um eine Ernährung gebeten, die mir geholfen wurde, und alles, was ich gebeten habe, wurde mit so viel Professionalität und freundlichkeit getan, dass ich mich wirklich umgeht. Ein Tipp für diejenigen, die noch nicht zu Nairobi waren, bereit, um die Sicherheitskontrollen bei der Einreise in das Hotel zu befolgen. Es kann jedoch schwer erscheinen, es ist aufgrund des historischen Kontextes Kenia notwendig. Ich empfehle dieses Hotel sehr an jemanden, der mich um Platz für einen Geschäftsaufenthalt in Nairobi bittet.

Booked 3 club rooms for 3 separate nights during a multi-stop tour through Kenya. The Stanley and the 1902 lounge were one of the highlights of our trip and we would definitely stay here again and specifically book the club rooms. First of all, the staff were incredible - Emilie, Collins, Benson (1902 lounge butlers), Steve (concierge) and Susan (management) deserve special recognition. They all went above and beyond to ensure our stay was amazing. The 1902 lounge is well worth the upgrade. Soft drinks and snacks during the day, and an incredible happy hour daily from 6-8 with hard drinks and hors d'oeuvres. And if your flight is later the day of checkout, you can use the lounge throughout the day. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive. We tried all 3 restaurants during our stay - The Thorn Tree cafe provides an excellent breakfast and is good for lunch. Both the Thai Chi and Pool Deck restaurants were excellent dinner choices. If you are heading on Safari or to Mombasa you can leave the luggage you don't need with the concierge, taking only the things you need for that part of the trip. This makes traveling so much easier. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious and well-appointed. As we returned to the Stanley from one of the legs of our trip, we all remarked that it felt like we were ”coming home”. Would highly recommend.

If you are looking for a popular instagrammable dining spot and are accepting of mediocre food, this is the place for you. Booked lunch with a friend on a sunny afternoon at the main restaurant, Meko. Staff are very friendly and the hotel is beautiful. Set on a slope, the meander to the restaurant and pool area built anticipation. I greatly admire the aesthetics in the engineering to make the hotel feel light, airy, bright and modern. Arriving at Meko, as the restaurant was not busy, we had our choice of tables. Service was very slow (it took 10mins with only 5 occupied tables, for us to be attended to). Despite that early hiccup, we happily ordered our lunch. The menu descriptions are very detailed and tantalising but do however fall short of the final dish delivered. We ordered: caesar salad with prawns, a roast beef sandwich and a chicken and eggplant pizza. What the chefs at Meko are yet to realise is that some diners are actually serious foodies and take the menu and it's descriptions seriously. Of the 3 dishes, only the salad was delicious and was accurately described. The roast beef, intended to be served on sourdough, was served on a baguette, closer to taste of white bread than sourdough. It would also be nice to have the option of the beef cooked to your liking. It seems the standard is well done. The beef was moist but overall, the sandwich very bland. The pizza was disappointing. A few mini cubes of chicken, a pinch of eggplant cubes, no pickled chili and a few drops of what I assume was meant to be roasted garlic. The setting is very pleasant and the wine list is well priced, however, I go to restaurants to eat and Meko has a lot to improve on.
