Zana - A Luxury Escape, Jim Corbett

I traveled with my friends to Jim Corbett for the weekend from Delhi. Very first the staff, especially the ones at the reception who checked us in and the ones who took care of the check out formalities, were very welcoming and polite. We were served with a welcome drink. We were helped to our rooms. Mr Aditya is a sweet guy too. The staff took care of us to the utmost level! The other people were equally polite(Including the night manager and night watchmen as well). I really like the way the entire staff greeted me in the morning! (which added to the overall experience) The classic rooms were clean, spacious and well lit. The location of the property made it all so much better. It is near to the Kosi River, Garija Devi Temple, Girija Safari Zone Gate and the suspension bridge. One can go for a walk from the resort to the suspension bridge to enjoy the view. Adventure Activities like Hot Air Balloon and Rafting are also nearby. It’s so calm and peaceful. The food was good. They even helped us with our Safari Bookings. It is a newly built property.The arcade room is a hit. It is great for the kids and even adults as well. The place has a lot of Mango trees within its complex. Fortunately, the weather was also good during our stay which added to the experience. Overall experience at Zana was awesome. I would also like to specially mention Mr Sameer (from the central reservations team) who helped us a lot with our bookings. Kudos to the team!

Overall was good and memorable experience. It’s a beautiful and tastefully built property. Not very big though. Service was good and prompt, always with a smile. Food was also good. They have a covered game area for kids, which was really good and our kids enjoyed it the most. Pool was also decent. We stayed there from Sunday till Wednesday , and it was not much crowded after Sunday, which matters to us. We felt that if too crowded this would have impacted the service ( Sunday night experience wasn’t very great )

I have been staying in different hotels around the world. I can gladly say this is the worst hotel I have stayed in. The experience and the expectations have hit a rock bottom at this hotel/ resort. There are various problems. 1. The service staff is inattentive: we order something for lunch got something else. 2. Out of 3 guests. Intially only 2 were served welcome drinks. Completely ignoring the third guest. That too by the hotel operations manager. 3. The room was not tended to in the beginning. The bathroom was faulty. We asked for Bucket and a mug which came after 90 mins. Our WiFi was not connected even after 2 hours of checking inn. 4. The pool is murky green. We were told that the pool can be accessible till 9:00 PM. When we visited they closed it for maintenance at 7:30. PM. They also were putting chemicals in the pool in front of us in the pool and instead the hotel manager told that it is safe to swim. Completely ignoring the harmful effects. In morning as well the pool was not clean. 5. We asked for news paper in the morning. To our supprise the newspaper does not come at the hotel. 6. The food was sub-par. 7. For every request you have to wait, Atleast 30 to 45 minutes to reach your room, that too after constant reminders. This is only for the day 1 of my stay. There is another day to go. Which started with no newspaper and dirty swimming pool.

Zana is located ideally to experience the sights of Jim Corbett National Park. This new resort has well appointed rooms that make for a comfortable stay. The staff is attentive, food is good and you can access the sites easily. Must stay when you are here next

Love the property, specially their food. Do try their tandoori food, its delicious. We stayed in a cottage. The interiors are done up very well. Beautiful greenery all around with so many different birds. Mandeep curated a liquor session for us & had immense knowledge. Om helped us in all possible way. Make a visit to the Kosi river or book yourself for a safari. They also have a swimming pool to enjoy with family. A good place to visit with family and kids. All in all a great place!

Dont book just by the fascinating Pictures. Even at coming at 3 Pm we have to wait 45 minutes to get our rooms. Service is pathetic there is no welcome drink as informed, no driver accomodation as informed, no dental kits in room. We are asking for everything which has to be self organised. On top of that we booked Property bcz we felt play area for kid look great. Unfortunately that is open just for 3 odd hour 7 pm to 10 pm in complete day. Swimming pool is too small as shown on webpage. Totally wasted my money dont waster your rather book Taj nearby in same tariff.

First & foremost each and every single review is true and true face of “Zana (so called luxury but a dumpster) Jim Corbett.so if Mr.Om(property incharge ) told you that reviews are fake by their competitors or ex employees he is lying because I booked that property for two days ( 5th Aug 2024-7th august 2024) and because of the HORRIBLE services I cancelled my second day. Here are the points where they failed miserably:- 1).Rooms-all rooms either classic,tiger tales,riverside or cottages are so small in size can’t accommodate 3 adults ,if they can then u barely walk in the room. RIVERSIDE room has no view of river and this property is so so small ,NO VIEW at all. 2).rooms are so small not at all recommended for family specially with kids whereas Zana Ranthambore rooms are huge and property is so beautiful. 3).they upgrade us to cottage without checking the condition of room- 3.1-no hot water in cottage and they weren’t able to fix it till next day as well and they said we are luxury property.(accordingly to them it’s a technical issue and they won’t able to fix till next day,are you guys staying in ISLAND or CITY?where your team needs more than a day to fix it or guest are staying in yoyo rooms.) 3.2-head shower logging because no one clean the shower from ages(they explain previous guest did not complain for shower so they assume everything fine ,instead of checking the room thoroughly they completely depend on guest feedback,if u complain they fix it,if not then let it be for next guest). 3.3-I was paying 12k /night where I got sad amenities,damage curtain and they took 1hr to prepare the bed after multiple calls for third person (where you assume that third person sleep on floor or bring their own bed). 4).they will never responded on time if you ask anything or after multiple follow up,you feels like you are a staff and working not relaxing and on our vacation. 5).this property and service providers are far from “Luxury “ and “hospitality “,try to stay in “Lemontree hotel “,”ahana hotel”,namaha hotel or lebu but not stay in Zana Jim Corbett.BIG NO. There are so many things ,just because the property is new(6 month old) please don’t be in trap,new furniture won’t make any hotel LUXURY,it’s service and people. Property is taking care by a 30yrs old unexperienced guy name “Om” whom I never saw around the property to check everything ok or not ,he is just busy with his own luxury vacation in property.

Amazing property ..hospitality was great..food was good.. pool was not that clean.. we went on a family vacation for night and the location of the property is perfect there might be a chance of seeing a tiger near the property at night. We saw a tiger at night around 1am crossing for the river.

We had a wonderful time as your guest last week. It was obvious you all work hard as a team into making us feel at home. We are honoured to have been welcomed into your home Zana and appreciate it more than we can say. Thank you Mr OM for being such an amazing host you went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and relaxed. Mr Aman a gem person Mr Mukesh, Prashant Mohit and list will go on there are lot more names I m sorry I m forgetting some ☺️ but each and every person dedication to providing the best experience of staying there is inspiring and we left with that smile on our faces and what more I can describe it was a brilliant time staying their thank you to each and everyone starting from the gate guard bhaiya ji to the chef house keeping team the front office staff everyone has that smile to help you and to create the best memories of your life. It was lovely staying their and meeting you all beautiful souls. Keep it up hope to meet you all again
