The Palace Balvedere

Very good and courteous staff. Beautiful property, historical value. Very spacious and reasonably priced. Not properly maintained. Geyser not working, no heater. Had to request for heater separately. Approach road to hotel is very narrow and steep. Scootys of other hotels are parked making it very difficult to reach hotel by car.

We booked two Super Deluxe rooms at The Palace Belvedere, Awagarh Estate, Nainital, for ₹6000 per night. Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed with our experience. The rooms we were allotted were old, shabby, and in poor condition. The ceiling and walls were dirty, the bathrooms had broken fixtures, and the rooms were incredibly smelly. When we requested a room change, the lady at the reception, dressed in a saree, was shockingly rude to my father. She curtly informed us that we would have to stay in the assigned rooms and that no refund would be issued, regardless of any complaints we might have. This level of customer service and the condition of the rooms were far below expectations for the price we paid. I do not recommend staying here.

Very dirty hotel and very rude staff not suitable with kids and senior citizen as no conveyance with hotel to maal road, spoiled festival manager not ready to listen very rude behavior unhygienic smelling dirty lot of insects. The tan color girl at reception wearing saree was super rude. We came to visit for duhera holiday and our dushera got ruined.

This location is quite peaceful, with pleasant surroundings and minimal crowds. The food was good, though the service was a bit slow. I visited during off-peak hours and found it to be reasonably priced.

Property location is very good. Food is very average. Hospitality is very good. Amenities is average.

The worst stay i ever had i my life the hotel is the worst property in the name of heritage they have old and smelly rooms with dirty bed sheets and no facility and location the staff is not cooperative and room service is not available just spoiled my stay i won’t visit or recommend them to any one any time

Deluxe room was very bad so i have to upgrade my stay to super deluxe room which was very spacious. Food was very bad. Location was near to mall road but there was steep path to reach hotel.

Location - not good, steep road to go till property, tough drive. Food - ok, amenities - maintained ok but old property, finally not value for money

Overall stay was excellent. I had booked super deluxe room. The room were excellent and clean. Food was so tasty and all amenties great
