A hidden gem nestled in the peaceful Pangot valley, Seclude Pangot lives up to its name by offering a truly secluded mountain experience away from Nainital's tourist crowds. The property features individual cottages thoughtfully designed as valley-facing havens, each boasting large windows that frame spectacular mountain views. The rooms themselves are a testament to mountain architecture, with wooden furnishings throughout that create an authentic alpine atmosphere. The attention to comfort is evident in the electrically heated beds and in-room heaters, perfect for those chilly mountain nights. Each cottage offers a wonderful sitting area where you can soak in the panoramic valley views in complete privacy. The reception area doubles as a dining space, and the views from here are simply breathtaking. Special mention must be made of the staff - Hemant, Neeraj, and Manoj - whose warm hospitality and attentiveness made our stay particularly memorable. Their courteous service began right from arrival and continued throughout our stay. The restaurant deserves praise for its extensive menu, which is crucial given the property's isolated location (nothing else within 3 km). A few considerations for potential visitors: - The property involves significant climbing (120+ steps from parking to lower rooms), which might be challenging for some guests - Cell phone connectivity is limited, and while WiFi is provided, it can be unstable due to occasional power fluctuations - While perfect for couples seeking a romantic getaway, there aren't any activities for children This property is highly recommended for couples looking for a peaceful mountain retreat with stunning views and excellent service. However, families with young children might want to consider alternatives as there aren't any recreational options for kids beyond nature walks or driving to Nainital (about an hour each way).
