Madison Hotel Nahariya

Three couples decided to spend part of Passover at this hotel. It's a long time since I have seen a run down and unfriendly hotel like this one. The room which included kosher for passover Dinner and Breakfast was poorly furnished, faced the back of the next door apartments (we were promised a sea view), and was not cleaned properly. The access to the hotel is up some stairs and we (in our 70's) were expected to carry out own luggage! The staff were unfriendly and only when I threatened to reverse my credit card payment did they find alternative accommodation for us. In short do not go to this dump!

We booked this hotel because it was in a very good location and because it looked pretty nice (I have to accept that views are nice). The moment that we arrived, we saw how bad this place was, and after seeing all this bad reviews, we lowered the expectations we had. Rooms are not clean, there’s no room service (the room service was just replacing the used towels with new towels), the elevators are old, the rooms seem to look nice but there just not… Also, the keys weren’t working. Food is a 7/10, Rooms are a 5/10, and Costumer Service is a 6/10. For this same price, they are many other options that are cheaper and just better. Please just trust the reviews after booking in a place. Thanks.

I am a world traveler, and this hotel was way below my standards. This room was not inexpensive I think it was like $250 a night. This is not about the room size, it's about the filth. Here are the Pros & Cons. PROS Front Staff: FRIENDLY Location: Excellent - next to the sea & our room had a great view Breakfast: Average - fairly good selection of foods - coffee not great; bread tasted day-old; cleaner than guest rooms. CONS FILTHY. Carpet badly stained, walls are in dire need of paint job, mold & mildew ENCRUSTED the entire shower - it was so disgusting my husband & I both opted NOT to use the shower. We couldn't even sleep well because it felt so dirty. My family rented other rooms on this trip & they had the SAME EXPERIENCE. So the hotel needs to invest some serious effort to get the bathroom up to standard, rip out the carpeting & replace the ripped furniture.

We stayed about 2 hours and checked out.We were given a key to room 414 On opening the wardrobe there was just a strip of metal to hang cloths.No shelves for clothing that does not hang.There was no chairs in the room,the carpets looked dirty.There was a sink but again looked tatty and dirty. We asked for some shelving and was bought 2 small tables,so all our clothing was supposed to be left out.There was a small writing table that looked fit enough to be put on a bonfire! The bathroom was extremley smal,we asked for some glasses but was given a plastic drinking cup!l The balcony was so small you had to put the front legs of a chair on the balcony and the back legs in the bedroom! I asked how 2 people were supposed to use the balcony and was told its impossible. I wanted to put valuables into the safe but that was situated on floor level,so to actually use the safe you had to lay on the floor. I asked if anything could be done and they brought another safe which was not secured,so anyone could just pick it up put it in a bag and walk out!! The pictures on the hotel website bear no relation to what the bedrooms actually are,if the bedrooms were half as good as the pictures it would help Its the worst hotel I have ever had the misfortune to book into..Its not even worth 1*

Отвратительно Почти всё грязное, поломано, пожаловаться некому. Уже больше месяца ни кто не реагирует на нашу жалобу хотя неоднократно обращались. Такое впечатление что делают одолжение что принимают.

Июнь ,с 16 по 27 июня.22 год.хороший отель.номер хорошего размера,большая ,с хорошим матрасом кровать.балкон,вид на море.сантехника старовата,но убирают хорошо,правда в не то время как хотелось бы.полотенец дают много. Завтраки хорошие,но без фруктов.в номере нет ручки и бумаги.обычно это есть.пляж замечательный.и прямо под окнами.это не 5 звездочек,4 с натяжкой.но правда ,очень хорошо.
