Meitetsu Inn Nagoya Ekimae

Ich war froh, Misosuppe und Maissuppe im Begrüßungsgetränk zu haben. Die Rezeption war sehr höflich, so dass ich bequem bleiben konnte.

Location around 10-15 minutes walk from the Nagoya station. The room is quite small and a bit cramped, but it's good that they provide free breakfast from 6.30am to 9.30am. Breakfast selection is not a lot and are the same for the 2 days I have stayed.

Around 8 mins walking distance to JR Nagoya and you can see the hotel building from the station if you walk out of Takashimaya Building. They have an underground pass from the train station and the nearest Hotel exit is via towards Lucine Tower L2 which only L2 has a lift up to the street while the rest of the exits are decked with stairs. Even if you lost your way to the hotel, you can always ask for the Post Office as they have a huge Post office nearby the station and passing by the Post office can lead you in the correct direction to the hotel. The impressive thing here is that they have an amenities bar at the lobby provided for room guests and they even have salt baths too! You can just grab your necessities any time you need. Not sure for 2 people but I find the room space is ok for single person, and very clean. Shampoo, shower gels, conditioner, hand soap and basic amenities like hangers and shoe polish are all provided. They also have cute magnet tags on your door to indicate for daily housekeepers. The room I've gotten is very clean and the walls are definitely not sound proof but decent enough to have your own peace and privacy. Facilities here may look old but I find it acceptable as they are very clean and well maintained. Only downside for tourists is that hotel staff here don't speak much English, and most of the room guests here are mostly Japanese business men, Japanese travelers to high school students and sometimes a few foreigners who can speak Japanese. Therefore, it is always helpful if you know some basic japanese or grab someone to stay along with who knows japanese will be good. Breakfast is in buffet style western and japanese, with soup, juice and coffee/tea. And everyday breakfast will be the same thing, but delicious and filling.

The hotel room is small but very clean and it also provides all the extra amenities at the lobby, despite what they have already given in your room. The staffs are attentive and very helpful, even though their English is not perfect but you can see their use their upmost efforts to try to communicate with you. The free breakfast buffet is not international 5-star hotel standards but adequate for Japanese standards and it’s mainly catering to the majority of the Japanese guests. Location is near the Nagoya station and therefore it’s near to eateries and shopping too and it’s easy to commute to most tourist attractions by metro too. You will have no regrets staying at this hotel if it’s within your budget and u don’t really need a big room to stay for 2 pax.

It was 5-8 mins walk from the JR Nagoya Station. The places was clean and all the staff are super nice! Also, they provided skin location, skin toner, facial cleanser and face wash, which I was super impressed!

Overall ok, to note on the switch in room, sparkle when removing the boiler plug. They changed and upgraded room for us. Room is small and breakfast choices are limited.

Hotel provide quite a good service and lots of amentities (power bath , cream , lotion etc.) also you can borrow free equipment from hotel. Room is small as Japan hotel standard. Variety of breakfast. Just location is a little bit hard to find walkway from JR station to hotel

A good hotel. The breakfast is very nice while we stay for 2 nights.
