Location:
It is strategic as it is just located across Grand Batam Mall, 7-minute walking. However, it is a busy road, difficult to crossover.
Cleanliness:
It is reasonably clean but not up to the expectation.
Service:
- Polite staffs but was not able to accommodate to customers needs, as I travel with my family members (with 2 elderly).
- We were being placed at Level 6, which was one floor below the Club (level 7). The club had been booming since 9:00 p.m.
- I managed to call up the concierge at 3:45 a.m. and they reiterated that the club session will ended at approximately 4:00 a.m. but it actually ended at 4:30 a.m.
- My parents and I did not sleep the whole night.
- The management only come back to us at 4:00 p.m. (which was 12 hours after), only to tell us that there were going to assist us to change to better rooms.
- Decided to forfeit the room and change hotel.
Facilities:
- Other than the club and bar / lounge above, there's no other facility provided for this hotel.
- An over-rated 3-star hotel.
- Air-conditioner was not cold enough even set to 18 degrees celsius (maximum) and maximum blowing speed.
- Leaking toilet basin.
- Lights in room were not installed properly (one yellow bed light and another white light on the other side).
Recommendation:
1. If you are solo traveller and don't mind with the booming sessions over the night, you may proceed to stay in this unit.
2. Otherwise, this is definitely not a good choice for families. The aim of staying in the hotel is not just merely lying on the bed but to rest. This shows that the hotel has lack on insights for her eligible customers to rest properly during precious short holiday trip. It's too insensitive.
3. Trip.com to give better advice to user before recommending / listing such property online, as this kind of units would definitely jeopardised the reputation of your platform. Kindly do the needful.
