This place is such a gem. Take slightly more than an hour direct from the Kathmandu airport. The views from the hotel is breathtaking. The room was clean and big enough for 2 pax. I like the balcony where i could just sit to take in the views and gaze at the stars at night. Bathroom was impeccably clean and the towels are really good. I participated in their morning hike organized by the hotel. The 1 hour i wished would lasted longer. We got a glimpse of the life around Nagarkot with amazing vistas. I must commend all the staffs at the hotel. Top notch service from everyone. With smile and very friendly. Special mention of Binod who has been very attentive in his service.

It was my great experience there even such a night staying there. It was so beautiful location to see the view of The Everest Mt. staff were very friendly and professional, breakfast was amazing and room was perfect. Lovely time ever to stay here.

The room I was initially provided gave me a terrible experience. However, after I informed housekeeping about the issue, they promptly addressed it and shifted me to another, upgraded room. I really appreciate their thoughtfulness and prompt action. Additionally, before we checked out, the hotel supervisor and manager personally came down to ask us how our stay was after the room change, which was a very professional gesture. I truly appreciate their efforts

Hotel Country Villa was a great stay with some disappointments. The location is perfect with a great view from all around the hotel. The service and staff were great all around with some exceptions. I booked 3 rooms for a total of 5 people with non non-refundable plan but due to a decrease in the number of people from 5 to 4, the hotel agreed to cancel 1 room for free for us. Although the process took some time and some pushing from Trip.com agent I am grateful for the free cancellation. One of the rooms I booked, the Junior Suite was for my partner and me for a short honeymoon kind of stay. The room was well designed and had great views but the in-room Jacuzzi needs maintenance. The outdoor pool and Jacuzzi were also great and the pool staff let us use them more than the closing time. The disappointing part of the stay was during breakfast. The buffet was amazing but the glass I used for juice had lipstick stains which I noticed after drinking from it. I am a male who doesn't use lipstick so it was clearly not mine. When I complained to a staff member who seemed to be a supervisor of some sort, instead of an apology, he laughed and asked us "Are you sure that it's not yours?" After that, he took the glass away and brought a new glass of juice but the juice was different from the one I was drinking. We were completely shocked by this as it was not a rookie staff that did this but rather a supervisor. Overall, we are satisfied with the whole stay but the lipstick on the glass has left a bad aftertaste.

WOW WOW WOW WOW - this place made our trip... lovely hotel, great food, and the view from my room was out of this world... full view of the himalaya mountain range, and I watched the sunrise off my balcony.

A very pleasant stay at this hotel - but it’s not 5* standard!  Room was OK but with little quality of fittings.  Bed fine, pillows terrible!  Breakfast had limited choice but was sufficient and tasty.   Being in rural Nepal this is one of the better hotels, accept it’s limitations, accept it’s 3*/4*, and enjoy the wonderful surroundings.  Staff were excellent and genuinely wanted you to have a good stay.

Nice sunrise view

We stayed only 1 night hoping to see sunrise but unluckily the cloud/pollution level were a lot even at the mountain where the resort is located. We had a great time there with beer and play games until late night. 1 disappointed thing is we were informed that the pool is heated pool but it is not heated at all, so we didn’t get to do swimming there. The hotel also have a taxi service for us from hotel to airport in a convenient truck with AC! Overall are good

I had a very good stay here!

Was able to make a video. Cannot post that one on Trip app. For this trip to Nepal, I had a driver scheduled ahead of time to make the drive up there in the dark easier. Pay extra if they stay or go down. No need to leave the property, but lovely locals in both road directions. It seems lots of people take their motorbikes up. There’s even college students and bus groups. Some vacant and less expensive hostels, but this location has everything needed. I think it’s a good night or two to stay. I arrived dinner and stayed two nights. All employees wonderful. Binod said Hotel can help arrange driver, but the bus also comes up. Sunrise depends on fog. Good either way.
