We were only here for 1 night but this was really next level luxurious. The room was really wonderful and the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. We didn't have dinner here, but the breakfast was outstanding. Everything we could think of was available and so fresh. The statues in the grounds are fun and the gardens are just magnificent. I have never seen such beautiful Begonias. Straffan is a close walk and a lovely village, really worth a visit.

Das Zimmer ist sauber und sauber, der Golfplatz ist wunderschön, das Frühstück ist im zweiten Stock, das Frühstück am Wochenende war bis Mittag um 11 Uhr betrieben, ich muss in Irland ein Mal in diesem Hotel leben, sehr gerne!

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt von Anfang bis Ende. Wir hatten Bestätigung Mittagessen im Restaurant, im Postmans Lodge und zum Frühstück am Morgen zurück. Die Jungs (12 Jahre alt) liebten das wunderschöne Bettdesign und konnten ihre Spielstation leicht anschließen. Die Bar war warm und gemütlich mit dem offenen Feuer war für die alten Mütter kalte Knochen gehalten. Das Personal war so freundlich und sehr professionell. Der Preis war vernünftig genug. sehr geeignet für Familien/Paare. Ich würde nochmal bleiben.

I was the organiser of a golf event in September 2024 and part of a group of twenty golfers who stayed at the hotel. From the first contact with the hotel about a year prior to the event the level of service, professionalism, communication and advice was superb. A complete turnkey package - rooms, golf, dining, transport - was put together for me by the team at the hotel at a very competitive price. Initially I dealt with Lenka and subsequently with Sibella. They were both brilliant to deal with and so competent in all their dealings with me. My group loved the ambiance of the hotel - spacious courtyard, lovely bar areas, restaurant and rooms. The staff everywhere throughout were attentive, courteous and well trained. We dined on two evenings in the hotel and were very satisfied with the choice and quality of the food presented. As an aside, the female bartender in the bar makes the most wonderful cadillac margaritas! The hotel is in a delightful location adjacent to the Liffey in Leixlip and a lovely get-away within twenty minutes or so from Dublin. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Super Erfahrung ✨ Dieses Hotel war kristallklar, das Zimmer war geräumig und luftig und dekoriert schön. Diese Betten! So komfortable wir schliefen, sobald unsere Kopfe die Kissen getroffen! Ein Traum ☁️ Das Team im Hotel war wunderbar hilfreich, aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir kamen sehr früh am Tag der Eincheckung an und sie erlaubten uns, ins Zimmer zu Check-in und zu betreten, was so eine Erleichterung war, nachdem wir nicht fast zwei Tage mit dem Reisen schlafen! Wir waren sehr dankbar. Es gibt auch eine Check-out-Zeit von 12:00, die eine fabulöse Perk ist! Der einzige Nebenteil war, dass wir viel Geld auf Taxis in Dublin City, die definitiv aufgestockt. Es gibt jedoch öffentliche Verkehrsmittel, die Sie in einer Stunde nach der Stadt bringen. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Erfahrung in diesem Hotel. Es war schuldlos und wir würden sicher noch einmal bleiben! Ich werde über diese gemütlichen Hühner und Duvet träumen!

Myself and my wife stayed Saturday and Sunday night 5th and 6th of October. Our room was nice, clean and comfortable. We used the gym, the pool and the Spa, great facilities, staff really nice and helpful. On the Saturday we had dinner in the Restaurant and unfortunately it was very very poor. The food was so boring and plane. For starters I had soup and my wife had the fig salad. The soup was like yogurt and tasteless although the bread was really nice. My wife's salad was very bland, missing some ingredients stated on the menu and no dressing. For mains I had Cod and it was really just a dry square piece of fish that I honestly could of cooked better myself (and I'm a rubbish cook!), no sauce and a few shavings of potatoes under the fish along with a wee bit of veg. My wife had beef, instead of mash my wife opted for chips. No sauce on the beef just two dry bits of meat and a triangle piece of hard turnip. Absolutely shocking meal. My wife had desert but that was as bad as the main meal. Service wasn't great, a young kid served us for most of the evening and she had really no interest in been there as far as I could tell. Definitely would recommend to stay away from the restaurant. On the Sunday we had dinner in the bar and that was delicious, fantastic friendly service. Food was great in a nice atmosphere. We we're lucky to have tickets for Christy Moore in the ballroom and that was a fantastic evening, Christy was great, venue fantastic (no bar in the ballroom so no rowdy patrons), everyone there to enjoy the music in a lovely atmosphere. Overall we had a really lovely weekend, lovely hotel nice staff, fantastic facilities. Unfortunately the restaurant is a no no for us but highly recommend the bar food 👌
