The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. Everything was perfect and we really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast buffet had a good selection. Everything in the area is within easy reach. We can highly recommend the accomodation. Thank you very much.

This boutique hotel is unique in several ways: The villa is set within a large garden with many large old trees and a stone-like swimming pool set nicely in the midst of the garden. The rooms are beautifully renovated with a mix of traditional characteristics (e.g. the beautiful wooden floors, Japanese inspired tapestries) and modern elements such as the open shower (bit enough not to splash water outside of the shower area). We stayed for two nights in the ‘garden’ room on the first floor (accessible by elevator) which had a comfortable king size bed. There was no air conditioning in this room which was not a disadvantage because the trees provide some shade at lunch time, and temperatures cool down nicely even during the summer period. The owners themselves made sure we enjoyed a highly delicious breakfast, including the local tapas (e.g. mini croissants filled with ham, lettuce and tomatoes) and a variety of fresh fruits. In our view, there is potential for improvement for the coffee, but otherwise we were very happy with the breakfast. The owners were very friendly and supportive, e.g. making suggestions for sightseeing. There was English speaking staff around most time. The location of this boutique hotel is fantastic: set in a very quiet part of Muros de Nalon, we visited Oviedo in the morning (35’ drive) and the Praia de Catedrais in late afternoon, with some relaxing time in between. The nice fishing village of Cudillero with lots of restaurants was a 10’ drive away. In summary, we can highly recommend this quiet and peaceful hotel if you travel by car and do not want to stay in one of the nearby cities.

This is a beautiful old ducal palace situated in The heart of Asturias. The hotel has been open for only a year and is situated in its own grounds in the edge of Muros de Nalon a 10 min drive to the picturesque fishing village of Cudilleros and within striking distance of Oviedo and Gijon. The staff are very welcoming and cater to your every need. The rooms are a well appointed and combine the modern whilst still keeping the fabric of the old ducal seat. Will defo comeback.

What a fantastic find. We were walking the Camino del Norte and decided to take a splurge day. This was well worth it. Pilar and Victor have created a very welcoming and warm experience. Beautiful garden and terrace and comfortable room. Highly recommended.

Es un hotel bellísimo, redecorado y modernizado siguiendo la elegancia que debe haber tenido esa bellísima casa del Marqués. Los jardines son hermosos, te invitan a recorrer cada detalle. Pero mejor todavía, es la amabilidad y el profesionalismo de Irene, que hace que la estadía sea un descanso Perfecto. En definitiva un lugar extraordinario en un entorno paradisiaco. Más no se puede pedir.

Celebré un brunch con mis amig@s en este maravilloso hotel y la experiencia fue muy satisfactoria. Decorado con mucho encanto, espléndidos exteriores y atenciòn exquisita por parte de los anfitriones. Especial mención a Irene por su cercanía y amabilidad.
