We required some room facilities through hotel application form but it seems nobody reads this. Also the receptionist didn't inform us about additional facilities we can use so we had to remind him. Restaurant food is ok but there is a feeling that there is not enough stuff and that they cannot prepare tables on time. The room was ok but needs renovation. Cooling unit was leaking and during the first night ceiling fell on the floor and we had water all over. Hotel reacted fast and during our breakfast they repaired the ceiling. After repairing water was steel pouring from the climate but ceiling didn't fall again during our stay. Room was cleaned every day and that was ok. Last day we spotted cockroaches on the floor.

... zu Allererst gehört ein Stern runter, der Zustand in Bereichen wie Hallenbad, Balkon, Gäste WC im Foyer ist keine 5 Sterne würdig, da würde ich sogar noch weiter gehen. Gerne kann ich dazu auch Fotos liefern. Im Hallenbad gibt es Salzkrusten unter den Liegen, die Fliesen fallen herunter, beim Einstieg gibt es Fliesenlöcher... im Gäste WC/Herren ist der Aufhänger mit Schraube komplett kaputt... beim Außenpool ist die Sonnendachabdeckung vom Wind zerfetzt... teilwiese sind die Liegen gebrochen und die Verwebung lose... am Balkon feiern die Spinnen ein Freudenfest und ebenso wurde die untere Glasblende wahrscheinlich vor 1 Jahr das letzte Mal gereinigt... dass der ganze Balkon voller Blütenstaub war, nun gut... aber 5 Sterne geht ganz anders ;-(( Das Zimmer ist so klein, dass der Kasten den Inhalt von einem Koffer nicht fassen kann. Ergo Bekleidung für 1 Woche und 2 Personen ist nicht verstaubar. Das franz. Bett hat eine Breite von 1,60m. Das genügt nicht für 2 ausgewachsene Menschen und ist sehr unangenehm. Auch ist nur eine Decke vorhanden … es wird ein online Service angeboten und sollte man hier zusätzliche Wünsche umgesetzt bekommen. Schön und gut, funktioniert nur leider nicht … online gemachte Wünsche werden schlicht nicht beachtet und dementsprechend erfolgt auch keine Reaktion. Dann noch die Einfahrt zum Parkplatz... schräg stehendes Terminal, entweder der Vorderreifen steht an der Kante, oder man muss aussteigen ;-(, abgesehen davon ist das Kartenlesegerät zerstört und grauslich... auch hier sehen 5 Sterne anders aus. Und dann kommen wir noch zu den Bereichen Küche und Service... 5 Sterne sind auch am Buffet und im Speisesaal (Speisehalle) nicht vertreten ... Das Angebot ist in Ordung, aber das war es dann auch schon, eben nix Besonderes ... und im 5 Sterne Bereich habe ich auch noch nie Servicemitarbeiter mit den Fingern in den Gläsern gesehen... das ist unterste Schublade und geht gar nicht... Ebenso können nur ca. 50% Ihrer Leute im Service lächeln, diese 50% sind allerdings hervorragend, freundlich und ausgesprochen fähig. Im Prinzip ist es mir egal ob 3, 4 oder 5 Sterne ... es muss nur alles zusammenpassen. Das tut es leider in diesem Falle nicht... Klar, im Moment macht noch vieles der Preis wett, dennoch ist das in Summe kein Aushängeschild für angebotene 5 Sterne und wie es so schön auf Ihrer Webseite steht... ”Das Hotel Coral ist für Gäste gedacht, die ein luxuriöses Leben genießen...”

Auf unserer Urlaubsreise nächtigten wir sieben Tage in dem Resort. Das Resort selber ist sehr sauber und macht einen gepflegten Eindruck. Wir selbst waren in dem neu errichteten Gebäude untergebracht und hatten ein sehr geräumiges Zimmer. Das Frühstück war ausreichend aber nicht Abwechslungsreich. Beim Personal muss man leider Abstriche machen. Die Personen am Empfang waren aufgesetzt freundlich und man hatte das Gefühl, dass man diese mit Fragen stört. In deren Gegenwart fühlte man sich nicht wohl. Genau so wenig nett, war die Frau, welche für das Wellness zuständig war. Man konnte froh sein, wenn sie überhaupt grüßte. Am letzten Tag schlug sie uns sogar die Tür vor der Nase zu, als wir unser Auto beladen wollten. Ich glaube sie ist mit der Gesamtsituation unzufrieden, was sie an den Hotelgästen auslässt. Man sollte darüber nachdenken, diese Personen auszutauschen. Hervorzuheben waren jedoch die Angestellten in der Pizzeria. Diese waren sehr sehr freundlich und hatten immer Zeit für ein kleines Gespräch. Wir haben dort gern ein Getränk zu uns genommen. Zusammenfassend war es trotz der Paar Abstriche ein sehr gelungener Urlaub und deswegen bekommt das Resort vier Punkte.

Lovely boutique hotel right on the water. If we come back to Novigrad, we will definitely return here. The staff is very professional, courteous, polite, and helpful. Suite has – private elevator to room from lobby; sauna (which we did not use); living room with sliding glass door to deck with frig; bathroom with (very tight fit shower) and door to deck; large bedroom with shelving, safe, and sliding glass door to deck; full length of suite deck with hot tub, sunbeds, and table overlooking west view of sea. Lovely turquoise blue and white color scheme; very clean. The bed had German style individual duvets. The shower is half of the tub with a movable partial glass “door” over the tub that makes for a very tight squeeze, with a sloped tub floor down to the drain on the opposite side of the tub; the tub floor is very slippery. The water pressure is not good and the shower is hard to use.The air conditioning works very well. There is not an assigned parking space; we had to park in a very tight fit at the marina about a ten minute walk away but the car was safe. The hot tub on the deck is marvelous at sunset. Check it when you first arrive – the lid was off and the water was very cold (because the lid was off, which the hotel person did not seem to understand), so we closed it up and turned the temperature up so we could use it the next day. The breakfast is buffet, with a small selection. There is not much of anything that is healthy (low calorie / low fat) other than the cherry tomatoes used as garnish on other offerings. Fruit is “whole”, not cut up or sliced. Bread is pretty stale (sliced, not rolls). The outdoor terrace is wonderful – across the pedestrian path and in a covered glass building right on the water. The a la carte omelettes are very good. The hotel is right on the pedestrian path along the water, with a cement slab below the glass dining pavilion. The sunbeds cost 18 euros per person even for hotel guests, which does not seem appropriate given the expense of the rooms to stay there; they should be free for hotel guests. Restaurants close early! We had trouble finding restaurants open and serving food after 9 pm. There is a grocery store a few blocks away.

Meine Freundin und ich waren Anfang September Gäste im Aminess Maestral Hotel. Die Rezeption ist rund um die Uhr verfügbar und das Personal dort ist äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Viele können Deutsch und alle sprechen flüssig Englisch. Das Frühstück war der Hammer, ein Buffet mit hirnrissig großer Auswahl an allem was das Herz begehrt. Beim Abendessen ist auch für jeden etwas da, ob asiatisch, italienisch, typisch kroatisch oder Wiener Schnitzel, den Gedanken sind keine Grenzen gesetzt. Allerdings fanden wir unserem Geschmack nach einige Speisen stark versalzen. Was uns auch noch aufgefallen ist: Der Koch liebt Senf. Vieles dort wird mit Senf gewürzt, was uns nicht so gefallen hat. Dennoch findet man meistens irgendwas für seinen Geschmack👍🏽 Besonders positiv überrascht waren wir vom Strand. Wir haben uns für unseren Aufenthalt Liegen gebucht, welche das Ganze noch verbessert haben. Das Meer dort ist besonders sauber, Kiesstrand mit teilweise felsigem Boden, dennoch kein einziger Seeigel in Sicht. Direkt nebenan ist der unschlagbare Infinity Pool mit Salzwasser, in dem der Sonnenuntergang gleich noch besser wird. Der SPA-Bereich ist ebenfalls äußerst sauber und man findet Ruhe. Mehr kann ich zum SPA nicht sagen, weil wir die 30 Grad ausgenutzt haben😜! Ein weiterer Pluspunkt waren die Zimmer, sehr sauber und modern eingerichtet. Das Reinigungspersonal war wahnsinnig schnell (10min nicht im Zimmer gewesen und alles war erledigt).

Mein Mann und ich kamen zur Parenzana (Biking) von Muggia nach Pula mit “Besuch guter Ort”. Am dritten Tag hatten wir die Nacht im “B & B Artigiana” zu verbringen. Alles war perfekt, der Komfort, die Sauberkeit und das Qualitäts Frühstück, das variierte und reichhaltig. Ben, Wijaya und Rita liefen den Ort für den Sommer und machten eine fantastische Arbeit. Sie arbeiteten hart und wollten auf die wunderschönste Weise unseren Bedürfnissen gerecht werden!
