I stayed for 3 days in this property and had an excellent experience with the service quality and professionalism of the staff attending us. Especially would like to call out Kunal, Sahil and team for taking care of us while having our breakfast and meals

The offroad safari was worth mentioning.its a total different experience and worth the time spend .thanks staff Nagraj for suggesting . Total 5 star experience . 4 hours wisely spend into some hidden treasures of kodaikanal. The hotel don't have a inner parking facility which I felt odd . The front desk response is not upto mark so reducing 1 star for that

Good overall stay for 4 nights in Sterling Kodai Lake, Indulge Suite. Sharing my detailed experience below which might help others out.. Good things- 1. Friendly and professional Staff in Restaurant, room cleaning and Discovery Central- There are key people here who are behind the success I would say.. in particular Sahil the Chef who makes you comfortable by checking with you and seeking feedback and managing the crowded restaurant at times. I also have to mention Kunal who is very committed to service and actively running around and checking the tables for any service required. Sahil and Kunal - Thank you very much for your support during the stay and offering to do a cake cutting in the restaurant. Discovery Central - large activity area including bike rental, very much needed when it is raining, actively well managed by Nagaraj and Eswaran. Thanks to both for their willingness to help you out when you have questions. 2. Quiet rooms - the hotel is nearly 2 km drive from the lake entrance. It is located behind the lake. 3. Bed and pillow quality 4. Tea Kadai - Evening refreshment available in open space in the hotel without having to sit inside a restaurant. 5. Breakfast and dinner were really nice and had variety Watch out areas: (disappointed for a 5 star hotel) - 1. Bed provided was queen bed and a mattress on the floor, however I booked via Agoda, where it is mentioned the bed is King size and sofa bed is available. This is not a big deal but it turned out that I had to sleep on the mattress on the floor which is a bit colder in the night leading to lack of sleep sometimes. Front desk did confirm that there are some issues with online sites quoting wrong information, but it is a disappointment for me. 2. Hot water is effectively unavailable. Pls see attached pic. The yellowish water flow was not fixed on Day 1. The promise of bringing in hot water to the room was not fulfilled either after my request directly to reception. Complained 3 times to different people including the front desk and then gave up. We had to bath in cold water for all 5 days of stay. 3. Room does not have a balcony considering that we are talking about a suite. 4. 3 out of 5 days we were left with following up for water and cutleries to our dining table during breakfast and lunch. 5. There is really no lake view, Lake is a bit far away and you need to really stretch from restaurant to see the backwaters of the lake. 6. Frequent power cuts, sometimes leaves you in the dark for a minute before the backup kicks in.

Stayed for a day and had a great experience at the hotel. Happened to meet Mr.Nagaraj who was very friendly with kids at the play area and happened to take us to a wonderful trekking around the place. Don't miss this trek if u happened to stay here. Rooms are cosy too.

Nagaraj bro was very friendly and supportive,had a good time with him in DJ party. Rooms were better. Food was good . Played billiards was an different experience. Very supportive people. Had great experience in the mid ofe the forest. Food can be improved. Eswaran supported with the campfire and dj .
