Hotel con encanto, rodeado de un campo de golf de P&P. Tiene un buen restaurante, con carta reducida, pero buena comida.
Las habitaciones amplias, el unico pero es que me estuve peleando con unos mosquitos y que el agua caliente a las mañana cuesta de aparecer...pero hay tranquilidad y confort.
Hay aparcamiento gratis y el acceso del aeropuerto es en apenas 5 minutos.

Immer wenn ich in Bilbao bin, übernachte ich in diesem Hotel. Es liegt etwas außerhalb, aber das Hotel ist diesen Extraweg wert. Der Ausblick auf Bilbao morgens ist einfach nur herrlich.

Das Anwesen ist hübsch, aber alt und schmutzig. Es gab keine Kaffeemaschine im Zimmer, auch keinen Kühlschrank. Es gab keine Verkaufsautomaten und die Caferia öffnet erst um 7 Uhr morgens. Wenn Sie also einen frühen Flug haben, ist es schade. Sie sagten auch, das Zimmer habe ein Kingsize-Bett, nun, zwei Betten zusammenzustellen, wobei das Abendessen unbequem in der Mitte endet, ist kein Kingsize-Bett, tut mir leid.

Having stayed here on a couple of occasions over the last twenty years, the hotel has possibly lost a bit of its appeal. It’s still good value depending on the season and the surrounding scenery is lovely but there’s not much to do if you leave the hotel grounds. We had a room in the main building which was very large but very basic. Whether you eat either in the main restaurant or the bistro, the menus and prices are pretty similar. The choice is a tad limited and the costs are rather puzzling. Some dishes are good value and quite filling whereas others are very small and expensive. Furthermore a bread roll costs €1.50 whereas a very nice glass of wine starts at just €2.40! The buffet breakfast however is a disappointment. Barely anything hot and a very limited selection of cold meats, cheeses, croissants etc.

The pool was a wonderful addition to this quaint place in the country, though still very close and convenient to the airport.
The breakfast area is a beautiful glassed in setting looking into the countryside.

I chose this place because it is 25 min from Port Bilbao and its out in the country with plenty of parking but when you get there you discover this fabulous monument of a building. I asked about its history at reception and they informed me that the building was sited 15km away and a motorway was going to go straight through it so the owner dismantled the whole place 20 years ago and rebuilt it on its present site, its just incredible and there are photos to prove it in the restaurant. I have stayed here twice .

Convenient location because of the proximity to the airport but beautiful surroundings. The hotel is a beautiful old palace in the middle of a forest. Nice ambience, decorations and staff.

Great and cozy hotel in proximity to Bilbao, need a car to get here but beautiful views, very friendly staff and great golfing facilities. The swimming pool was a bit small and felt a little dirty and un cared for, and walking in the area wasn't really possible due to the lack of walkways. Grat food and wine otherwise.
