Hotel Kumkum

Almost good , tissue paper not provided which is included.there is no any ventilation in deluxe room Staff are good and food also very good. There should be a lift for like old age person Because of that I couldn't go to the canteen or terrace to enjoy the stay.. dining table is very small and for 3 of us only 1 chair provided...

The room was very neat and tidy, the staff members especially the receptionist service was awesome, i didn’t noticed any faults in the Hotel. Its a best option for the stay in mumbai in a budget range. I am from kerala so i was not familiar about the places near to the hotel, the Hotel staff had guided me and given me a brief about the place and what all things to be taken care while roaming around the places in Mumbai.

Good Clean rooms though small in size. Centrally located on main road. But Food options are very limited. Cafeteria is not managed properly. Opens very late in morning at 8.30 AM. Should open by 7.00 Am and should have wide menu Need a proper Chef to prepare food items. Tea is also served machine made.

Nice place, nicer staff, good service. We stayed for 3 nights, and wanted a location close to the racecourse. This was it. A decent area of town, with easy access to cabs and two railway stations. The place was clean, the staff very well mannered and service good. Check out is a bit early, but hey, you can’t always get what you want. 😀

Great stay at Hotel Kumkum in Central Mumbai. Great Location and in the centre of Mumbai so you can get taxis around easily (taxis available straight outside the hotel) The staff were super friendly and available to offer advice to local markets, getting trains, and going to sightseeing locations. Paresh and Amol, the day managers were great to talk to and give us really good advice on taxi fares across the city. My wife and I had also just got married in Satara and we were assigned a twin room but on request we were changed into a double room. The rooms are quite small compared to other cities and areas we have stayed in. (For info there is no lift so this hotel is not accessibility friendly) I do have two pieces of constructive reflectivness to pass onto the hotel management as possible improvements to guests stay. 1) The hotel looks great, the bathroom in our room was great but the walls in our room (101) would really benefit from having a fresh coat of paint as it looked pretty kid and dirty. 2) you have a lovely roof terrace but it would be good to have a selection of tables and chairs on the terrace for morning coffee/breakfast.. Was a bit disappointed we were not allowed to take chairs and tables from the restaurant. Despite these 2 points I would stay here again for the location and the service.

Rooms designed with elegance in mind and finesse. It’s not big or lavish but bite-size and functional. Accessibility by bus or Black and Yellow cabs is a huge plus. Everyone knows Lamington road Minerva cinemas and that’s right outside Kumkum. I won’t do justice if I don’t mention the super friendly, lovely and brotherly staffs (Mr. Amul, Mr. Parekh, Mr. Muthu and Mr. Shubham) at both reception and the room service folks. The chef (Narain)’s food is the best. Not to mention a besutiful lookout on the terrace where you can see some part of the skyline and bust off your stress! This place is like a home to me in Mumbai during my business trips. *Mic drop*
