My experience was deeply uncomfortable due to a severe and overpowering paint smell in my room. The chemical odor was so intense that I was barely able to sleep. I contacted the reception desk to request a room change, but I was informed that the hotel was fully booked and no other rooms were available. While the team did attempt to resolve the issue by using air freshener, it did not help. I even resorted to wearing a face mask through the night, but the smell remained intolerable.
As a hospitality provider, I expect a safe, clean, and comfortable environment, which was not provided during this stay. I would appreciate it if Hilton management team could address the following questions:
• Room Availability: Why was a room with such a strong, toxic chemical odor deemed fit for guest occupancy?
• Maintenance Timeline: On what date and time was this specific room painted prior to my check-in?
• Mitigation Equipment: Given the lack of available rooms, why was an industrial air purifier not provided to clear the fumes, rather than just air freshener?
