Hotels mit Bergblick in Amphoe Mae Rim

The hotel is beautiful, but it's built on a mountainside, so the buildings you need are spread out on a very steep road, so it's not easy to move around it. There are golf buggies that take you from place to place if you call them, but having to ask for a vehicle every time you want to go and eat or leave is quite annoying. The distances are walkable, but not if you have mobility issues. The pavements are also in far worse condition than the roads, so you end up walking on the roads and having to keep jumping out the way of the passing vehicles. Photos are attached of the view of the very steep road going up next to our balcony to show an example of the scale of the steepness. The location is remote. Apparently taxi apps like Grab and Bolt do not work here, although we did manage to quickly book a Bolt to take us here from Chiang Mai centre. A car and driver can be hired from the hotel for 2500 baht for 4 hours. I wouldn't recommend visiting if you don't have your own vehicle, as there is nothing nearby you can walk to. On check-in, the hotel said they offered room service, but there were no menus in the rooms. The room cleaning was slow if you are on a higher floor - on our 2 days, they didn't manage to visit all morning despite us leaving the ”please clean room” sign on the door. I found out later that you can ring reception to ask your room to be prioritised. The restaurant is expensive compared to central Chiang Mai, and they recommend that you reserve a table every night you want to eat there, but the food was good. Service was a bit chaotic. On the night we arrived, at 5:30 pm, reception told us they had reserved a table for us. But when we went to the restaurant, that did not seem to be the case, and we were taken to an unreserved table in a loud and echoey room. I then had to go up and ask to order as no-one came, and then the order was missing items when it did arrive. Randomly on the grounds near the lobby, there is a parrot in a tiny cage compared to its size with no entertainment, hardly any plants, and barely anywhere to perch. It's really sad to see.

Die Aussicht aus diesem Zimmer ist wirklich schön. Die Badewanne ist riesig. Mein Kind liebt sie. Das Frühstück wurde im Zimmer serviert und war sehr lecker. Es war authentisches lokales Essen. Nachts ist es kühl, schätzungsweise um die 13 Grad. Ich musste die Klimaanlage um 22 Uhr ausschalten.

Tua Baan Din ist eine wunderschöne, charmant eingerichtete Privatunterkunft, ideal zum Entspannen und Erholen in der angenehmen Spätsommer-Atmosphäre. Es ist ruhig, friedlich und bietet viel Privatsphäre. Genießen Sie ein köstliches BBQ-Set mit Eis und Getränken sowie ein herzhaftes Frühstück, um gestärkt in Ihre Abreise zu starten. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Besitzerin Khun Ann, die unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit ist. Rufen Sie einfach an, wenn Sie etwas benötigen! Ich kann einen Besuch nur wärmstens empfehlen; Sie werden es nicht bereuen.

I had a wonderful stay at Nai R Kaad and would absolutely recommend it, especially for solo travelers or anyone looking for peace and nature. The cabin is stunning and beautifully designed, blending perfectly with the surrounding mountains. The view is truly outstanding sunset time was magical and easily one of the highlights of my trip. The BBQ experience was great and very well set up, making it such a special moment to enjoy dinner while overlooking the mountains. The service was excellent: staff were kind, attentive, and made sure everything was well prepared and comfortable during my stay. Since the cabin is located in the mountains, it does get quite cold in the evening. While the bed was comfortable with a normal blanket, there were no heaters or extra blankets available for outdoor seating. A few outdoor blankets would make the experience even more perfect, especially if you plan to eat outside. It’s also worth noting that there are no shops or attractions nearby due to the remote location, so it’s a good idea to bring your own snacks or drinks if you’re staying more than one night. For a one-night stay, however, it was absolutely perfect for me as a solo traveler. Overall, this is a beautiful, peaceful place with breathtaking views and great service. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it for a unique mountain escape in Chiang Mai.

Very cozy and nice resort in Mon Jam. The resort architecture was really homey. We came to the resort too early before check-in time but we've been received great service and hospitalized to get early check-in also been upgraded to the bigger room to ”Mon Fah” that you can enjoy the stunning view at your room great balcony area. Hot chamomile tea retreated me from a bit cold but fresh greenery after rain during check-in waiting. After check-in, we took lunch at resort restaurant that they had Michaelin stars 3 consecutive years. Food was fresh and very healthy delicious especially organic vegg. We felt very warm hospitalized from all service minded and well trained staffs and especially 'Pee Su” the owner. All fruits especially papaya was really sweet and fresh. We encouraged yo support local organic farm directly here that you can enjoy shopping papaya, lemon, and seasonal vegg and fruits here. ”Nong Kwan” the resort staff brought us to the local chilli, lettuce and cabbage farm down hill that easy to access from resort. She's really friendly and amazingly she learnt how to plant by herself, from long year experience learning by doing was such a great expertise that she shared her know how with us and we learnt from her a lot about high land plantation. We appreciated Pee Su, Long Kwan and all staffs provided us great service like friends visit home. We promised next time to Mon Jam, we'll revisit your place once again for sure.

✨ Ein überwältigendes Stundenverbleib bei Chai Cheevit Maesa ✨ Die Reise zum Resort selbst fühlte sich wie ein Abenteuer die off-site Straße könnte ein wenig wild sein, aber es fügte nur zu der Aufregung und machte die Ankunft noch belohnender. Von Anfang an wurden wir mit einem unglaublich warmen Willkommen begrüßt. Das Personal hier ist über wunderbar immer hilfreich, aufmerksam und bedenklich, auch vor unserer Ankunft, wenn Kommunikation und Service beeindruckend schnell waren. Und dann... die Aussicht! Nur wow. Absolut wert der Fahrt. Es fühlt sich wirklich wie ein verstecktes Geschirr, das vom Chaos der Stadt weggetaucht ist. Der Frieden und die Ruhe der Umgebung sofort wegwaschte den Stress des täglichen Lebens so eine erfrischende Flucht. Alle Details unseres Aufenthalts waren mit Sorge erfüllt. Von der ungenauen Service bis zu unserem schönen Abendessen, alles fühlte sich persönlich und speziell. Es ist selten, einen Ort zu finden, der sowohl Abenteuer als auch Ruhe in einer Erfahrung gibt. Der einzige Nebenteil? Eine so wunderbare Stelle zu verlassen! Ich würde Chai Cheevit Maesa 100% empfehlen, jemanden, der etwas einzigartiges, friedliches und unvergessliches sucht. Ich habe bereits geplant, zurückzukommen und nächstes Mal, werde ich länger bleiben!

Summary: We had a great stay here at SkyView Monjam! The house had all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay, albeit certain obscure corners could be cleaned up better. The staff were excellent and took great care of us, providing us with good food and catering to our requests as much as possible. Would definitely come back again for a relaxing retreat! Cleanliness: Overall very clean, though certain areas that are more difficult to reach in general could see certain signs of nature. But those areas are not visible unless you purposely look into it, which won't affect your stay overall. Staff will ask if the house needs to be cleaned daily, then changes the bedsheets and covers if yes. So rest assured that the sheets are clean and fresh. Location: Not the most accessible, but that should be expected when you are booking this place since it is up in the mountain area. Driving takes at least 1 hour with confident driving skills on windy mountainous roads. The last 200m or so to the house is bumpy off-road tracks. Transportation to and fro can be requested to the staff and booked at least 1 day in advance for a fixed fee. Do not bother trying to get Grab/Bolt rides as the final fare will end up much higher due to rural location and road condition. In fact, why bother going out when you can relax in nature 😃 Service: Simply put, it was equivalent to a 5-star resort. The staff were very accommodating to our requests and timings, even waiting for us near past their working hours and our requested time to help prepare our dinner! Be rest assured that you will be well taken care of during the stay! Amenities: The MVP was the speaker provided, it stayed with us throughout our whole stay. Wifi was strong and readily available despite being in a less urban area. Shower water is fixed at a temperature as the hot water is boiled using gas, so any adjustments will require assistance from the staff to physically change the gas intake of the boiler. The air-conditioning is not the strongest at cooling the entire house, so a standing fan is provided to help circulate the cool air around. Other than utensils which can be requested from the staff, cooking appliances and tools are readily available.

Ich liebe den Service bei NJ Homestay. Obwohl die Mitarbeiter vielleicht nicht sehr gut sprechen oder Englisch verstehen, wir haben nur gut mit Google Translate gehandelt. Unser Zimmer’s Toilette hat uns während unseres Aufenthalts einige Probleme verursacht die Wasserheizer war nicht zuerst arbeiten, und später hatte das WC flussende Probleme, die über die beiden Nächte, die wir dort waren, fortgesetzt. Das sagte ich, ich möchte den Mitarbeitern einen besonderen Schrei geben, die immer geduldig und hilfreich waren, nie zögern, uns bei der Entschlüsselung des Toilettes oder beim Check-in des Heizgeräts, wenn es ein Problem gab. Die Lage ist nicht die bequemste seit es’ auf in den Bergen, aber mit einem privaten Fahrer machte ein großer Unterschied. Frühstück wurde eingeschlossen und es war großartig. Was die Reinigkeit betrifft, war es akzeptabel, da der Heimweg in einem Berggebiet liegt einige Bugs erwartet werden, und Rooster beginnen zu krummen so früh wie 3:30 Uhr. Gesamt, die schönen Blicke, friedliche Atmosphäre, frische Luft, und freundliches Personal und örtliches Personal (Chiang Mai Menschen sind im Allgemeinen sehr warm und willkommen) machten den Aufenthalt wert. Absolut empfehlenswert für muslimische Reisende!!! Wir sind eine fünfköpfige Familie mit Kindern im Alter von 18, 13 und 10 Jahren. Wir waren zum ersten Mal hier. Wir kamen gegen 21 Uhr direkt vom Flughafen. Die Taxifahrt kostete ca. 1500 Baht und dauerte etwa eine Stunde. Als wir Mon View Ngarm erreichten, herrschten angenehme 13 Grad! Wir wohnten im Familienzimmer (ein kleiner Fußmarsch vom Check-in-Schalter). Der Check-in verlief reibungslos und das Personal begleitete uns zu unserem Zimmer. Das Zimmer war unglaublich sauber (keine Insekten, nicht einmal Mücken!) und die Aussicht am Morgen war einfach atemberaubend! Das Halal-Frühstück war an den beiden Tagen unseres Aufenthalts einfach. Es gab eine kleine Ecke speziell dafür, und viele andere muslimische Reisende waren ebenfalls dort. Wenn ihr (wie ich) mit 5 Personen in der Gegend unterwegs seid, empfehle ich euch, für den ganzen Tag einen privaten Fahrer zu mieten (das Hotel kann das für euch organisieren). Meiner hat etwa 1500 Baht gekostet. Ich empfehle euch außerdem, im Hotelrestaurant beim Frühstück Hotpot zu essen. Es ist einfach, aber bei dem Wetter absolut empfehlenswert! Da nicht alle Angestellten Englisch sprechen, musste ich manchmal Google Translate benutzen. Insgesamt war ich von diesem Ort total begeistert! Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder, um noch mehr zu entdecken. Vergesst nicht, warme Kleidung mitzubringen! Ab dem späten Nachmittag kühlt es deutlich ab.

We stayed at the accommodation on early June 2026. Its low season so not many guests there also not many staffs. All type of accomodations are abit worn down. Could use great maintenance and swapped furnitures to up the standard and bring more guests in. Location is great, view is good and service is good. The staffs could use more proper hospitality training to run the accommodation without manager or owner present. Food is so tasty both Mookahta and others from the menu. Overall, we enjoyed the stay a night but we would not survive the second night, due to water pressure is so low to take enough shower, room is too small, furnitures are so worn out and wobbly, no wifi at the time of stay, tv does not work, cleaness around kitchens and common areas. Hope the owner see this and do something about it.
