This was the worst hotel ever for a handicapped person! Spent one night in July. Checked into the room at night and the young lady told us that we had room 104. Get the TV to work so went to call the front desk to find out why and the phone didn’t work. Walk to the front desk and was told how to work the TV but it didn’t work still. No smoke alarm in the room has been gutted out of the wall. Went to bed anyway TV turned itself on three times in the middle of the night. Got up in the morning and put my handicap mother into the shower and as she was about to sit down, I realized the chair was about to break. She is not overweight. Took her back out of the shower and realized there was a grab bar on the back wall but not on the sidewall so I had to hold her entire 180 pounds. forfeited the shower for that trip and the water wouldn’t drain anyway. Went to the front desk and young man told me that it was the only handicap room and he could do nothing as far as a discount. It would have to go through management. Management was supposed to call me in 2 to 3 days, but I have received no phone calls. worst hotel I have stayed in. Excuses excuses and no return phone calls. Pay the extra money and stay somewhere else!
