Hotel 4* nur perfekt sehr sauber die Korridore und das Zimmer fühlt sich super gut das Personal ist sehr warm und sehr warm wirklich perfekt! Le seul petit bémol est qu'il est un peut islé mais c pas un inconvenant sachant qu'il y a un arrêt de bus à côté . De plus il y a une grande piscine extérieure avec des palmiers des transats et c'est tout regard sur la mère très Instagramable.

Schwer zu finden, aber gut wert, wenn Sie es finden! Freundlich von einem lächelnden Rezeptor begrüßt und ein gut ausgestattetes Zimmer. Ein sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Ich hatte ein wirklich gutes Essen im Hotel Restaurant, aber wie ich später bemerkte, war es viele Restaurants in der Nähe, die genauso schön und wahrscheinlich billiger war. Der Service im Restaurant war erstaunlich, so empfehle ich ihnen einen Versuch.

Well, what a great hotel. We arrived on the opening day after a name change from the last hotel name (same owners, different name) We was meant to go to Las Vegas but it didn't happen so we went to Malta. The Hotel was stll being refurbished but a lot of the rooms was open, We was given room 3124 a gorgeous room, with a really nice view. We was shown to our room by Vikky (Viktoria, the Guest Relations Manager) after being checked in by Natalia (i think) We also got a bottle of wine for our long awaited honeymoon as our honeymooon kept being cancelled including the Las Vegas one. As Hilton Diamond members we get breakfast included in our room rate, Breakfast is an expansive affair with far too much to choose from, i went for Salad, i know, crazy right. but topped it off with a nice omelette. The outdoor pool is small but very good, the indoor pool much larger but far too hot for us. Service is great and fast, they was always out taking orders and bringing drinks quickly so you could enjoy more outdoor time. After a few days of being there we asked if we could upgrade to All Inclusive which turned out to be very good, we'd done everything we wanted to do in St Paul's bay so wanted to hang in or near the hotel. All the food is delicious and drinks, although confusing of what was allowed for AI customers, i made the suggestion of having a drinks menu of what drinks ARE allowed as we got a lot of you 'can't have that' A few members of staff made our stay really fantastic and always took the time to say hi and have a great conversation. These include Vikki (GRM) Lorenzo (bar supervisor) Jason in the same bar, always happy, always friendly and Desislav Juniper bar and other staff that we just didn't get their names. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the main Square with a vast amount of shops, bars and restaurants. This used to be the old Dolmen Hotel and they have retained a lot of their staff, it's been nice seeing them adapt to a new system which can be challenging but they will get there in time. At the time of writing this review, there still are building works going on but getting less and less as its all getting finished. Sind derzeit für 7 Nächte im H Hotel untergebracht. Aufgrund unserer vielen Reisen weltweit, möchten ich versuchen mich so ehrlich wie möglich zu halten. Fangen wir beim Hotelpersonal an: Sehr freundlich, professionell und hilfsbereit. Haben ein Hot-Tube Zimmer gebucht und leider eines in der 5 Etage zum Hinterhof erhalten, inklusive Klimaanlagen Geräusche und Küchengeruch. Kein Balkon und ein öffnen der Fenster aufgrund der dauerhaften Lautstärke und des Geruchs undenkbar. Dafür, dass wir 4 Monate im Voraus gebucht hatten, waren wir über dieses Zimmer sehr enttäuscht. Es dient allenfalls als ,,Sparzimmer“ und sollte auch so inseriert werden. Nach einer Reklamation haben wir ein Zimmer am Ende des Flures inkl. Balkon zur ,,Partymeile“ bekommen. Lautstärke Abends enorm, allerdings wussten wir bereits bei der Buchung darüber Bescheid, weshalb dies kein Problem für uns darstellt. Gegen 1Uhr (Coronabedingt) ist Schluss mit der Musik. Ich muss dennoch dazu sagen, dass mir vorab (nach der Buchung) via Email mitgeteilt wurde, dass es KEINE Hot-Tube Zimmer inkl. Balkon gibt. Hierfür auch einen Punkt Abzug, da es sich offensichtlich nicht um die Wahrheit handelte. Die Zimmer sind wunderschön, geräumig und sehr modern. Hier und da könnte man Kleinigkeiten verbessern: z.B. mehr Haken im Badezimmer, mehr Licht (schminken wird zur Qual), andere Steckdosenzugänge. Die Fernseher funktionieren wohl seit einiger Zeit nicht. D.h. es besteht auch keine Möglichkeit Smart-TV oder Ähnliches zu schauen. Als Entschuldigung gab es 2 Cocktail-Gutscheine. Ob das ausreichend ist, ist fraglich. Wir hätten gerne Musik gehört oder abends einen Film geschaut. Da die Funktion schon länger defekt und immer noch nicht behoben wurde, auf jeden Fall einen Punkt Abzug. Ebenso gibt es leider nur eine Zimmerkarte. Da man diese für den Aufzug braucht, sehr unpraktisch. Das Hotel hat einen wunderbaren Stil, es ist sehr sauber und modern. Der SPA Bereich ist wunderschön, der Pool hat eine klasse Temperatur. Leider ist die Sauna nur 60Grad warm. Für meine Verhältnisse zu kalt, allerdings ist dies eine eine subjektive Meinung und soll keinen negativen Einfluss auf die Bewertung haben. Das Frühstück ist super. Es gibt alles was das Herz begehrt. Aufgrund von Corona wird man ausschließlich bedient, was eine super Lösung darstellt. Auch hier ein sehr freundliches und professionelles Personal! Ein ganz großer negativer Punkt ist die Dachterrasse außerhalb der Hauptsaison. Wir wussten zwar, dass der Infinity-Pool & die Bar geschlossen sind, was kein Problem darstellt - es besteht aber nicht einmal die Möglichkeit, die Terrasse zu betreten! Bei 18 Grad Sonnenschein würde diese mit großer Sicherheit einige Gäste anlocken. Wir finden es sehr schade, dass wir nicht einmal die Möglichkeit haben, die Terrasse zu begehen (leider abgeschlossen!). Auch dies ist leider nicht deutlich bei der Buchung beschrieben und sollte noch einmal deutlich gemacht werden.

In einer Ruhigen Seitenstraße parallel zu Strandpromenade gelegene Hotel. Ideal als Ausgangspunkt um Malta kennen zu lernen. Ob zu Fuß die Strandpromenade entlang schlendern oder mit dem Bus, Bußhaltestelle ganz in der nähe. Zimmer sehr sauber, das Personal an der Rezeption freundlich und behilflich. Auf der Dachterrasse Swimmingpool und Liegestühle. Bei der nächsten Reise nach Malta buche ich wieder dieses Hotel.

Starting with the information - we stayed at So City as a young couple (who arent particularly into nightclubs/bars) to see Matla for the first time over a week. I have given this a 'benefit-of-the-doubt' rating due to the hotel being incredibly new. We picked So City Hotel because of the value, it was incredibly well priced. I'd imagine this is a strategy due to it being so new but it was certainly well worth the price we paid. On to the hotel as a whole - I feel this is definitely aimed toward capturing people coming to Malta for some night life. Its positioned so that no more than 10 seconds from leaving the lobby, you can be in a bar, and their are some nice bars surrounding. That said, we werent there for that - but this location also meant that finding an evening meal, or a quick early night drink was incredibly easy. Exploring the island was also very easy from here, Valletta was a very short journey, and as we had opted to rent a car, there was a carpark about 5 minutes walk away (Pengardens) which is reasonably priced for over night parking, and we never struggled for a space. The room was very comfortable, and the mattress was perfect and bedding very soft and comfortable. Our upgraded room was also incredibly spacious. The theming is a nice touch and makes the room a bit more characterful and individual. Staying on the 7th floor, there was minimal noise at night, altough id be concerned if we needed to keep the window open.... The black out curtains were also amazing for keep the room dark for a little bit of extra sleep. Constructive criticism for the room would be: The shower tempurture is difficult - the hottest setting is insanely hot (my other half loves hot showers but this was too much for her also) and it wouldnt go cold, just cooler, it also seemed to get colder through out the shower and you found yourself adjusting. There is not a lot of storage at all for longer stays. This is perhaps a by product of it feeling aimed towards 'nightlifers' who might stop 3 nights or so. I would perhaps ask reception for additional hangers if you have plenty of clothes for a longer stay. The mini fridge, altough useful, is not big enough to put larger water bottles in, which can be annoying. The aircon unit is situated in a place which means it blows directly at the bed. I tried to play with the control but there was no way to adjust it that I could find. Im trying to cool the room, not refridgerate myself. The timer on the aircon also didnt seem to work, so setting it the blow for 30 mins whilst i went to sleep just didnt seem to work. The TV is not a full smartTV which is a shame. Just channels and an internet browser, which are never nice to navigate around.... On to other notes: Breakfast is just what you need. Its not an all out buffett where there is everything you could dream of, but there is more than enough and a few items cycle so you can expect a slightly different breakfast each morning. Wir reservierten für 10 Nächte ein Zimmer mit 2 Betten und maltesischer Balkon - es war eine wunderbare Erfahrung - selbst bevor wir ankamen, hatte ich sehr freundliche E-Mail-Kontakt mit Marisa - prüfen Details für meinen Freund, der ein bisschen behindert ist. Das Zimmer war im Allgemeinen ein Schönheitsgefühl - schön eingerichtet, aber sehr historische, in der goldenen Steinwerk der Medina-Gebiet. Die Aussicht war wunderbar, vom Landschaft bei Sonnenaufgang und durch den Tag, und auf den Essen auf den Terrassen unten in den Abenden! Das Frühstück war so großzügig, dass wir Mittagessen überschied! Wir waren mit heißem Wetter gesegnet, so dass der Klimaanlage und das Duschezimmer ein echtes Plus waren. Aber im Allgemeinen machten das aufmerksame und freundliche Personal unseren Aufenthalt unvergesslich. Danke allen. Wirklich fühlten sich wie eine Familienerfahrung! Liebte die lokale Vibe der Frontterrasse - 'PDV' ist bekannt und lokal geschätzt! Ein Schatz.

Ich war mit einer Freundin dort und wir haben die Zeit genossen. Das Zimmer war ansprechend und wir hatten das Glück, dass der Balkon zur Poolseite hin lag - so hatten wir Ruhe. Andere Zimmer lagen zur stark befahrenen Straße hin, wo es oft ziemlich laut war. Der Zimmerservice war zuverlässig, auch hier waren wir sehr zufrieden. Ein kleines Manko war, dass aus dem Bad (Siffon defekt?) beizeiten ein übler Geruch aus der Kanalisation stieg. Was uns sehr gefiel waren die zwei Außenpools. Unten befand sich der ”Familienpool” zum Toben, auf dem Rooftop befand sich ein Pool exklusiv für Erwachsene ab 16 Jahren mit ”Chillout - music” im Hintergrund. Snacks und diverse Getränke gab es an beiden zu erwerben. Ebenfalls oben mit Blick auf das Meer befand sich ein Restaurant mit thailändischer Küche - absolut empfehlenswert! Gut gegessen haben wir auch im unterhalb gelegenen italienischen Restaurant. Der Service, sowohl in diesen Restaurants als auch beim leckeren Frühstücksbuffet, war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Bezüglich der Abreise (Transfer zum Flughafen, Abholzeit) kam es zu unvorhergesehenen ”Komplikationen” (die nichts mit dem Hotel zu tun hatten), aber dank des Guest Relations Managers Martin Sapiano, der uns mit großem Eifer und einer guten Portion Humor weiterhelfen konnte, hat auch das noch funktioniert :-)
