Pura Vida Lodge

What an incredible treat it was staying at Pura Vida Lodge! Daniel and his team are simply superb, super friendly and welcoming. The chalets are kept clean and the "comforts of home" are provided too. No distractions such as TV or Wi-Fi needed here, LOL. We brought our own ice machine which was such a luxury, I definitely recommend that guests bring one along. The chalets have electricity, hot water, fridge, stove and oven, enough utensils, cutlery, crockery etc. Being within a few meters from the warm ocean, a cool breeze blowing throughout the day and stars that light up the night sky, we had the privilege of making so many memories. The close traveling distance to other other places, situates Pura Vida lodge in a prime location. Simply put, it is the Caribbean of Africa and such a memorable place. We will be back soon!

wow , if this is your first time , or if you have been to Moz , this is definately the place to go. absolute perfect setting. Pura Vida is ideally situated , isolated with perfect beaches all to yourself. with lodges with bars/restaurants on both sides off you , 7km each, close enough if you want to party , far away enough to truly experience the bahamas in mozambique. Daniel will assist with everything you need , and his trusty side kick Eugene will organise the best lula ( calamari) that you have ever seen and mangrove crabs. it is best to contact Daniel before to get Lula and crab for you to be ready when you arrive , as it it freshly caught sothat you can have seafood on your 1st day. lula - 400 Mts , crab 300 Mts , fish 400 -500mts / KG

My wife and I had our 10 year wedding anniversary at Pura Vida. From arrival to departure the crew were awesome, helpful and friendly. The lodge is really well set up and a great place to relax, cook and chat with like minded humans. Great surf teachers and equipment. Lots of other activities to do when you aren’t surfing. The crew teaching yoga, SUP and surf skate were really good. There’s something for everyone Delicious buffet style breakfast each morning. Thanks so much to the crew for an awesome week!
