Aralea Beach Resort by Stone Wood, Morjim

Excellent property, very clean and great ambience we thank Sujata Mam and Vijay sir for excellent arrangement on one call they have personally took care of our all guests and were very polite and helpful .The food was also excellent . I really recommend this property for staycation with family .Best part was beach just a minute from resort and was very clean and with all facilities .

The pictures (honestly) dont do justice to actually how you feel once you reach at the property because its beach access, locality, closeness to the market, liquor shops, the serenity around - all of this will only be felt once you book your stay here and reach the location. The staff is very helpful, they are always on their toes to give you the most memorable holiday and experience at Aralea. Chef cooks such beautiful meals for you - we were a group of 20 people, and we always left our plates fully done because the food was that delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our whole stay at Aralea. Specially mentioning the beach access, theres a small walk by the resort - hardly a few steps and you ll reach the most stunning spots of the whole Morjim beach, there are shacks around, good crowd, its quiet and somehow I truly felt this patch of the Morjim beach was stunning as compared to the other spots we saw in Morjim. A must must visit for all age groups, they are economical yet will give you the most surreal experience you can think of.

Excellent place, good food, next to beach, hospitable, super spot ! Stayed for a week with entire family. Good buffet breakfast. Villas are very good. Lots & lots of greenery in the resort. Very well planned. Must visit resort. Courteous staff.

One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Location is okay, close to Morjim beach, north Goa (~50 meters walk). Approach road to the hotel is terrible, full of potholes, not convenient if you want to drive around and explore the area. Staff was extremely untrained and inattentive. Service is simply bad. Hotel property itself is good but not well maintained. Hotel has a swimming pool but they don’t keep it clean (lots of dust, dirt, leaves and frogs) and do not respect the opening times. The reception staff and manager was incompetent, the hotel doesn’t even have a general decency of offering their guests water or a welcome drink while we wait for the rooms. We also had to drag our heavy luggage ourselves from the car to our rooms. Rooms are average and definitely not the cleanest. At first we were given two rooms - one with two cockroaches and one with termites - that too not next to one another and not on ground floor even though we requested that because we had guests with mobility impaired. After lots of fighting and escalation, we were given two cleaner rooms next to each other but still on the first floor (without an elevator) and were still not the cleanest. In one of the rooms, we had requested an extra bed - it took several calls to the reception to get that set up. Amenities include chairs, tables, desk, windows with curtains, TV, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, closet space with hangers, safe, fridge, tea kettle, tea & coffee, charging sockets and lamps on both sides of the bed, mirror, hair dryer, and essentials like towels, napkins, shampoo, shower gel, etc. Room lighting was poor. WiFi speed and coverage was very bad. Bed and blankets were large. Mattress was not the most comfortable one (especially for people with back problems). Bathroom was fine with a walk-in shower, toilet and fan. Breakfast was good, had a good variety of options. Their in-house restaurant food was also good, but the waiting time, service and restaurant staff was terrible - for every thing you had to remind them several times, sometimes for 45 minutes and in the end had to cancel the order. I would never recommend anyone to stay at this hotel, especially if you are from outside India and if you value good service and quality.
