SeaBird Hotel

Room right next to reception, told to be quiet talking one night but every morning heard everyone that worked there speaking very loudly. Breakfast- toaster completely broken, biscuits and Nutella were nice. Rooms- plug sockets next to bed did not work which is a nuisance, tv did not turn on, you have to hold the shower head to use it and sink tap did not work properly, however, water did get to a good temperature. Unfortunately, the staff were not very chatty, always felt awkward when passing. You cannot buy any drinks or food in the day as nobody is serving Safe was free which is a bonus Be mindful that pool is completely shaded, we spent most of our holiday at the hotel next door, very upsetting

stayed here a before however this time i found only one other family English all others were from Netherlands/Polish/German ??not sure which as they were sticking to their own kind and very unfriendly and the hotel itself seemed to be more for these people, cant blame them if they are what bring majority of the income in for the owners but we felt very uncomfortable this time in the hotel. Room was clean but dated as is all the hotel except for the bar that is more modern. Breakfast buffet style and again seemed catered for for other nationalitys not British. 2 Irish waitresses were there but saying they were looking elsewhere as the other staff were not very nice towards them, really a shame but didnt get involved myself with gossiping,guess been English speaking they were just glad to chat to us. id say its a cheap dated but clean 3 star hotel, good location near beach also main street but sorry wont stay here again due to unfriendly atmosphere.

The room was a 2 star not 3 but happy with basic Greek accommodation so no biggie. The food (we went hb) was only used 2x (breakfast and dinner twice each) both were adequate at best there is no table service and you are not even offered a drink with your meal (even if you had to pay for it) only water in the corner! There is very little room in the food area for the number of guests and everything is in one corner (broken toaster, coffee machine, juice machine etc) . Do not take the food options! We are not fussy eaters but it was dire tbh. The transfer was around an hour and the area is sparse however there are a couple of shops within a few minutes walk. The beach was close by and we chose to pay €5 each for the sun beds attached to the Golden beach restaurant which provided waiter service for food and drinks and was excellent. Restaurants locally were few but we had lovely dinners at the golden beach and ate once at salt n pepper restaurant for traditional Greek food. Unfortunately we both got a stomach bug whilst away (so did many others we spoke to at this and other hotels). We booked a trip to see the lagoon and caves but this was only ok as the boat trip was v v long and not much to see although the swimming at the lagoon was nice as was the 90 minutes in Sivota village. We wouldn’t go back to this area or this hotel again and probably not Corfu either. Thankfully we only booked 7 days and 3 of those were spent being ill never been so glad to be coming back home!

nice small hotel with pool, close to the beach and some nice restaurants, room was big with balcony and condition, view on the mountains, quiet and cozy , personal very friendly, cleaning perfect, who wants good and cheap, this is the best option..will go next time again :)

Loved my stay at the Sea Bird Hotel. Very close to the beach, supermarkets and fabulous restaurants. Also very easy to explore more of Corfu from there. The receptionist and the rest of the staff members were so welcoming and accommodating. The food was lovely and very reasonably priced with a lot of choice prepared by the very attentive kitchen staff. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
