The Anglers Inn

Stayed one night standard room. Carpet was filthy but room overall cleanish. Only place I have ever sprayed insect repellent on sheets as from look of carpet I was dubious about sheets!!! Good sized room with comfy bed but a bathroom window that would not shut so peep show available if they wanted especially at night!! Friends stayed in deluxe room which was fractionally better than hours at least painted and nicer carpet etc but their smoke alarm open and clearly no battery in it. Glad we were only staying one night as definitely would of checked out earlier if staying longer. Sad thing is it would take very little to make this place more attractive and appealing. Clean and freshen rooms, do some maintenance, including putting more gravel on parking area, add some planters outside and instant transformation!! Would be embarrassed to have carpet this filthy in my own home let alone in a motel situation, come on, get off your backsides Anglers Inn and improve this for your own sake 🙈

Firstly we found the rooms to be modern, spotless and classy moden kettle and toaster, the bed very comfortable, the air/con very quite and efficient, as we were tavelling Adventure bike riders we were able to lock up the bikes saftley behind a secure fence, the staff in the bar were hard working and very accommodating to a group requirments as in putting tables togather for us with out asking, the meals were top class restaurant meals and very well priced, none of our group had any complaints what so ever. thi was my first visit to WALLAROO and have no affiliation with the hotel, when one walks away a 100% satisfied you have to say something.

Went there for lunch. They had a kids room but really not much in there in the way of toys (very bare) had a couch and tv... which didn't entertain my smaller kids. They could improve on this for sure! Hubby and I had chicken schnitzels which were delicious!
