2-Sterne-Hotels in Montpellier

Hotel wurde von zwei Familien als Zwischenübernachtung auf dem Weg nach Spanien besucht. Dafür war es 100%ig geeignet. Ohne große Umwege schnell von der Autobahn aus zu erreichen. Saubere, klimatisierte Zimmer, sauberes Bad und -für uns ganz wichtig-englischsprachige Rezeption. Beleuchteter, durch Tore gesicherter Parkplatz (man benötigt eine Zahlenkombination für die Ausfahrt, die man beim Check in erhält.) Auch war -zumindest am frühen Abend- eine Security auf dem Außengelände. Wegen Corona waren die Barbereiche im Hotel geschlossen. Restaurant für das Abendessen direkt gegenüber des Eingangs, das Frühstück kann im Hotel gebucht werden. Beim nächsten Spanienurlaub kommen wir wieder.

La chambre était propre et bien équipée mais mériterait un peu d'entretien notamment au niveau de la salle de bain (chasse d'eau qui coule en permanence, pomme de douche qui fuit au niveau du tuyau... Pas bon pour la planète tout ça). Le matelas était bon. L'hôtel est assez calme si votre chambre donne côté parking mais un peu bruyante côté rue. Le petit déjeuner est bien fourni. Le responsable de l'établissement pourrait se montrer un peu plus aimable, avec les clients comme avec le personnel.

Arrivés à notre hôtel nous sommes reçus par une dame tout à fait accueillante, poli et serviable. Nous récupérons le code de la chambre mais à notre grande surprise un des lits n’était pas fait, alors que nous avions bien stipulé que nous étions 3, ce fut assez désagréable après 5h de route de devoir faire le lit. Dans la douche une odeur de caca sûrement dut aux remontées des canalisations. Les toilettes étaient relativement propres cependant manquant d’une brosse pour nettoyer. Les serviettes de douche au nombre insuffisant sentaient le hachis Parmentier. Ceci dit nous avons passé une bonne nuit, la climatisation fonctionnait bien, et le petit-déjeuner était très correct et varié.

Hotel room is exactly as pictured. Staff was welcoming and spoke English, which was helpful as my French is not so good yet. Clean, close to city center and train station. Comfortable bed, air conditioning worked very well.

Again one of those places where I'd love to give half-star ratings (would give it a 3.5). The location is great, very close to the city center and some interesting places for food or drinks around. The staff was extremely friendly and provided us with recommendations about what to see during our stay (5 stars for the staff working there!). We booked the basic room so I knew a little what to expect. The room was small and basic and even though the mattress was comfortable, the bed itself needs some work (I think the mattress was a little too small so we hurt our legs a couple of times running into the corners of the bed). The bathroom was super tiny, even more than I expected. We had the courtyard ”view” which I might have interpreted a little differently but be aware that you could basically see into another persons' room. Nonetheless, you can open the window and get a little fresh air. The walls are also not the greatest, they seem to be quite thin. We had no issues with the lift next to us (as others mentioned it was too loud) but a little noise in the hallway could very well be heard in the room. I'm not sure what the general price is in Montpellier city center, I personally think it was a little high for what you get (apart from the location). Generally, we were happy with our stay for a couple of nights, it was what I expected and it fit our purpose. Thank you :)

Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer reserviert, aber ein Zimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten wurde uns zugewiesen, während wir sich dort gut im Voraus genommen hatten, um zu buchen. Es ist auch sehr heiß in dem Zimmer, das zum Zeitpunkt unseres Übergangs nicht über eine funktionelle Klimaanlage verfügt. Das Hotel ist jedoch ideal gelegen: zwei Minuten zu Fuß vom Stadtzentrum, sehr nahe dem Bahnhof und dem Parkplatz der Comédie (Pensionsparking, -20% für die Hotelkunden). Es ist auch in der Nähe des Konzertraums. De plus, il faut souligner que le personnel est très agréable et disponible h24. Merci pour l’accueil.
