Stayed here for 3 nights while visiting for a wedding. The b&b is absolutely beautiful! Stunning garden and the most comfy bed I have slept in for a very long time. It’s situated in a lovely part of the wonderful medieval town Montmorillion, it was so quiet at bed time I had the best sleep of my life. A short walk from all the touristy parts of towns with parking to the rear of the property. Yvonne and Richard made us feel very welcome. 5 Stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Very warm welcome by the owners. Off street parking available. The place was immaculate. Big rooms and huge breakfast choice. Good location too in order to walk into town for restos and bars. Thoroughly recommend.

Lovely Guest House and our room was well-furnished and spotless. Yvonne and Richard were friendly and welcoming hosts who looked after us very well and gave us a superb breakfast. We had an excellent stay and felt it was very cheap for the facilities and welcome that we received. Thoroughly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our 4 night stay at LBB. Richard and Yvonne are the most attentive hosts and are clearly revelling in their roles as custodians of this lovely old house. The property is being maintained to a very high standard. It’s neat, tidy and spotlessly clean and is a very comfortable and welcoming home away from home. The neighbourhood is quiet, safe and secure, so much so that we opted not to take advantage of the private car parking offered. Richard and Yvonne are well versed in the history and culture of Montmorillon and were able to offer a wealth of suggestions on where to go and what to do while visiting the département. Breakfast each day was a joy - smiles all around with the best of local produce on offer. Richard cycled to the bakery each morning to ensure we had the freshest of fresh croissants and bread. Our evenings in the garden were punctuated with shared glasses of wine and relaxed and friendly conversation. There’s an authenticity about LBB and its owners that is seldom found beyond small communities like Montmorillon.

This is a lovely B&B run by very knowledgeable and friendly English owners. Everything is of a very high standard from the decor and cleanliness of the room to the sumptuous breakfast. Highly recommended. The village is also very beautiful and worth exploring.

Nous avons fait une étape très agréable à la Bicyclette Bleue. La literie était de bonne qualité, et tout était impeccable et charmant. Le petit déjeuner était excellent, avec des produits frais et savoureux. Nos hôtes étaient très attentifs et chaleureux, ce qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus plaisant. Je recommande vivement ! We had a very pleasant stay at La Bicyclette Bleue. The bedding was of high quality, and everything was impeccable and charming. The breakfast was excellent, with fresh and tasty products. Our hosts were very attentive and warm, which made our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend it!
