The Trilogy Hotel is emblematic of a third chapter in a long and storied history. A long-awaited conclusion full of hope, healing, and celebration that follows two earlier volumes defined first by oppression and then by victorious struggle. The name will evoke the city's heritage, but we will also make sure it points the way towards the future and an exciting next and final chapter of a vibrant story.

Never again. We just returned home from a three night stay at the Marriott Courtyard in Montgomery to visit family. We chose it, as Platinum Elite Bonvoy members, because it was a convenient location, and we have stayed in some very nice Courtyards around the country. Upon check in, the front desk employee could not get the credit card reader to work. After several reboots, our card had to be entered manually. We were never offered a complimentary upgrade, nor was there any discussion about points bonus. The hallway carpeting throughout was worn and filthy. The room had peeling ceilings. The room itself was damp the entire stay. The bathroom floor never dried and was slippery. The towels were still soaked the following day. We didn’t request housecleaning the second day because we slept in. We did request housecleaning; at least fresh towels the following day, but when we returned at 2:00 pm to freshen up, housekeeping still had not come. We had to track down a housekeeper and insist on towels; which she eventually did, but never emptied the two full trash cans. One of the outside doors that required a key card to open didn’t work. On a better note, the staff at the Bistro was very attentive and helpful with the one breakfast we had. This place did not meet any standards we have come to expect from a Marriott Courtyard. We will be visiting family there again, but will certainly search for a better place to stay.

A very assessable location situated just off the Interstate, about a 15 minute drive to Downtown and state capitol. Plenty of parking, rooms comfortable, clean and spacious, good choice breakfast included. Staff very helpful and informative.
GGuest UserFive stars for the customer service here! Jecoby at the front desk was so hospitable and professional. He helped our family get rooms next to each other and he assisted with a few other requests that we had. He also greeted us by name as we came and left and he did it all with a smile! The other desk staff members were equally as nice. This was unexpected, amazing customer service! The rooms all had microwaves and mini fridges, which was nice. The suites had a sitting area that separated the sleeping area from the bathroom. The rooms were clean when we checked in but the day to day housekeeping left a little to be desired. When we ran into the housekeeping staff in the hallways on multiple days, they couldn't figure out who had our room. But, the staff that we saw were very accommodating. We brought our trash cans out and they changed the bags. They also switched our towels for us. It didn't appear that they make the beds on a daily basis however. They offered a complimentary breakfast, which was well stocked, even near the end of the breakfast hour. The variety of food was good and the hot dishes rotated daily. While we were there, the food included breakfast sandwiches, breakfast meats, eggs, leige waffles, yogurt, oatmeal, grits, and fruit. They had a mini waffle maker, which was a hit with our kids. Juices, milk, coffee, tea, and water were available. We utilized the gym facilities on several days and while small, it got the job done. They had two treadmills, and an elliptical, although it was not working while we were there. The equipment was a little dated, but it was able to be used. They also had free weights. This was really an excellent stay in the Eastchase area in Montgomery. Close to numerous restaurants and shops, it was the perfect location and hotel for our family. The most striking thing about our stay was how great the employees were. Despite seemingly working long hours, they were wonderful. I haven't seen this kind of customer service in a very long time at a hotel of this caliber, or even more upscale hotels. I would highly recommend this place.
My overnight stay was perfect. My check in was fast and easy. There were carts available in the lobby to carry my luggage to the room. The room was clean and newly renovated. The free breakfast was hot and fresh with a nice selection of food and beverages. Checkout was a breeze. My bill was exactly as previously quoted. The clerks at check in and check out were friendly and helpful when answering my questions or concerns. I would definitely stay there again.
GGastnutzer I had not reviewed this place but need to change my accommodations ASAP (across the road! I ended up paying for two rooms that night because of that place!) I was fortunate enough to suddenly find a decently priced & clean room to stay for a week. I just googled extended stay & this was the first thing that popped up. I called at night to a general number & the lady was too nice to me, highly unusual these days. The building is older but the upkeep is exceptional. I didn’t expect then room to be so clean & smelled lemony fresh. The housekeeper deserves a tip! The staff are nice, professional, & helpful. This hotel is calm & quiet day & night. I cannot hear the guest next door. Yes, they do not have an elevator! It sucks but there are 8 steps from the front door & you will be on the second floor. Another 16 steps to get to third floor. It isn’t as bad as I imagined, I would have declined but I was a little desperate to find better room, & I have a lot of bags to carry. Once I entered the room & I was glad I did not have the time to decline to stay here based on a elevator. Actually, the lady at the front desk that night offered to help me carry my stuff more than once. I declined because my junk is not her responsibility. She also suggested that I can request to be transferred to the first floor in the morning if someone checks out. I thought that is what I would do but I’m actually comfortable & probably need that excise anyway. I just briefed two reviews & someone mentioned junkies. I have been here for few days & I have’t seen anyone in the parking lot except customers coming & going. No one lingering around, making me feel uncomfortable. I do see a lot of military personnel here so I am pretty sure they wouldn’t be here if the government thought it was unsafe. Veteran here & the military will tell you were you should not go. There are ppl walking along the main road that appear to be minding their own business & are not hanging around. The parking lot & cars a viewable from the rooms. There is parking on both sides of the building the front & back without any obstacles obstructing a clear view of the vehicles. My car is so close to me, if I jumped out my window I could probably land on my car. Although I am on the third floor it feels like being upstairs of a house. The building is on a hill so the second floor from the front is actually first floor. There must not be a first floor in the front. I am babbling so I guess I’m done with this review.
It started woth a 30 minute check in because the computers are circa 1992 and struggling with the windows XP update. It was some of the best service you will ever get (it really was amazingly friendly. Almost too friendly. Almost a declaration that this would be the last moment of peace I would ever experience in this life. but I digress) It took thirty minutes because the card reader thingy isn’t working very well. In that moment I should have known; but I didn’t. He pointed me to a well-oiled, somewhat dented and clearly broken-in historically registered elevator and said-“that way to the second floor sir!” (How did he know I was in the military? What a nice guy). I entered the hollow metal death tube eerily reminiscent to Disney’s epic Tower of Terror and I thought “Hold on man-you can do this. It’s a good thing you’re not claustrophobic.” This would be the last rational thought I would have for 12 to 72 hours. I hit the button and stood up straight—to the penthouse here I come! That’s when the power went out. My friendly attendant called out, “Just a moment sir, I know just what to do.” With delicate ease he placed the fireman’s call key into the slot and the power came on. “Just hit floor number two sir!” I would like to tell you that in that moment I had presence of mind to leave that hotel elevator taking my chances on the contractor’s garbage laden stairs; but I didn’t. No, I proudly punched that button and whiz pop it hurtled towards the skies…for about six inches. Then the power went out. He started resetting as I repeated pushed the exceptionally loud elevator buzzer (who hasn’t wanted to do that?) and yelled out, “Somebody call 9-1-1.” ( I did it loud and with intensity and just short of those words I’m not allowed to use without quarters for the jar.) BUZZ HELP! BUZZ HELP BUZZ HELP! I think I may have heard panic and a little crying from the other side of the door. (Sometimes at night I can still hear the crying). Over the top? Yes. But when I stopped the buzzing an eerie silence hung heavy in the air and I heard a heard a faint, “So I should call the Fire Department then?” (He was on the line with his GM.) I responded with “Great! Better call him in too!” Now I know what you must be wondering, did I remember the wisdom of Dwight Shrute and establish a hygiene corner? The answer is yes, but thankfully I was too busy writing fan mail to my new friends at Choice Hotels corporate to use it. They haven’t responded to me yet and I really really want to get one of those yard skeletons left over from Halloween and leave it between the floors with a copy of my note: “Please send help, I’m stuck in an elevator at Comfort Inn in Montgomery Alabama. Running out of ai…” (But I digress). It was about that time I heard the distant sounds of sirens drawing near. (Good thing it was a slow night for fires in the capital city.) My fearless heroes called out to me from beyond the door. “Are you claust
