Sehr gut, kein großes Problem, grundsätzlich gibt es Dienstleistungen, oder entsprechen dem Standard von Geschäftsreisen, nächstes Mal vielleicht noch hier wohnen, empfehlen es, es gibt eine große Einkaufsmöglichkeit in der Nähe des Hotels

As a Canadian traveler with large family, this boutique hotel in central Montevideo was one of the finest places I have stayed at. The front lobby staff (especially Laura) were incredibly helpful and English was very good. They are available on whatsapp to answer questions prior to your visit. The roof top breakfast dining was really great spread with hot meals. The location is generally safe and walking distance to the central commercial district. The famous Palacio Salvo and Plaza Independencia are a block away. Lots of eateries (Americano Cafe really good), pharmacies, laundry, and convenience stores. The history of revitilzation of this hotel reminded me of the incredible boutique hotels of Queen St W in Toronto (a bit like Drake Hotel with a more family feel). The rooms are not large as it is an older building conversion but offers a comfortable and clean upgrade.

Das Hotel liegt sehr nahe der Altstadt und dem unabhängigen Platz und ist sehr gut zu Fuß entfernt. Die Zimmer sind sauber und sauber, der Kühlschrank und die elektrische Heizung sind verfügbar. This hotel was very disappointing for me and my wife. Looking at the pictures and the previous reviews, I really thought we would stay in a great hotel, but the reality was different. We did the reservation for a standard room, the pictures don't show how small they are. The room that they gave us was on the 2nd floor, and the window was direct to a central air conditioning machine (I suppose it is). It's a big machine, terrible view, but also terrible noise. They turn it off at 6:30pm, and turn it on at 08:30am. If you want to sleep in it is impossible, or if you want to take a nap in the afternoon, impossible too. Besides that there is a door in the room, to the next room, it's obviously closed, but you can hear everything from your neighborhood. The bathroom is ok, towels are good and clean. But when you take a shower the floor gets all wet, even with the box close, it's probably some leak. We stayed for four nights, and in two of then the air conditioning was not working. We called the reception and the answer was that they would have to call a technician, to repair it. They fixed, but in the next day it was broken again. Fortunately the weather was not so cold, and it was possible to leave the window opened, but we we had to deal with the noise coming from outside. We asked to change for a better room as soon as we arrived. But the receptionist said the hotel was full, and that in the next day they would have a free room, in a superior category, but it was necessary to pay the difference to the upgrade. We said that we have the gold benefit from **********, and this update would be for free for us. As soon as we told about the benefit, they tell us that we need to wait for the next day and see if the room would be still available, but, of course, it wasn't free anymore. Although the location of the hotel is good, we definitely wouldn't like to stay there anymore.

Mein 2. Aufenthalt hier. Altmodisch )(positiv gesehen), in einen alten Haus untergebracht. Möbel wie ich es von meine Oma in Erinnerung habe. Ein Balkon , klein aber es ist da. Sehr freundliche Staff, vor allem älteres Paar der beide male am Abend da war (Besitzer nehme ich an ). Aber alle andere waren hilfsbereit und freundlich. Ich kann es nur empfehlen.

This place was perfect in every way. The check-in, the room, the service, and the dining room staff were all wonderful. Our room was clean, the water was hot, and the bed was comfortable. This hotel is ideally located as well. The mall and grocery are within walking distance, and some excellent restaurants are also within walking distance.

Right on a small square in the middle of the Old City, this gem makes you feel like you have gone back in time. It is old world glorious, unique, and well located. The room was large, and thoughtfully laid out with historical and thematic pieces. I had a 20's microphone and stand in mine. Very cool Breakfast was phenomenal, and a great start to each day. The best of all, was the staff. I lost my cell phone on my 2nd day, and AT&T did not allow me to activate my backup. Each of the staff (two gentleman and one gentlelady) took as a personal mission to ease the pain of such a loss on vacation. My basic Spanish helped in the stores, but all 3 had excellent English and more importantly a huge heart to help me out. What could have ruined my vacation, became a reminder of why I travel in the first place. To meet people and share experiences. There was no limit to what the staff tried to get me up and running with another phone, but also their cool and calm demeanor allowed me to stay in the right vacation mindset. Frankly they made the trip, and allowed me to continue with my plan on to Argentina. Danny

I stayed at this lovely hotel a number of times in April and May of this year 2023.This hotel is located in the heart of the Ciutad Vieja,the Old City, in Montevideo.The location is very convenient to the sights,attractions and restaurants of this part of the city.Check-in was handled speedily and the room I was given was clean and inviting.I want to pay tribute to the staff who were always friendly and helpful-Oscar,Francisco and Reuben...The ladies who operated the breakfast buffet were also friendly and welcoming....This is a lovely place to stay and a staff member is always available to assist with booking a taxi....I am happy to recommend this place and gladly give it 10 out of 10.

Ein sehr schönes Haus - prachtvoll. Den Punktabzug gibt es für die unpraktischen Zimmer. Man hat zwar eine kleine Sitzecke, aber keinen vernünftigen Platz zum Abstellen der Koffer. Das Frühstück war gut, das Servicepersonal beim Frühstück gemischt, teilweise sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, teilweise unfreundlich und unaufmerksam. Und dass man in so einem Haus eine Cappuccino zum Frühstück extra bezahlen muss (US$ 7,-) und der dann wie ein normaler Kaffee mit Milchschaum schmeckt, müsste eigentlich noch einen Punktabzug geben.

Ich fühle mich gut, aber nach der Zeit habe ich nicht versucht, das Frühstück zu trinken, nahe am Flughafen, die Vergangenheit, die am Flughafen gespielt wurde, war nicht teuer, aber vielleicht sind wir Touristen, also wurden wir gepflastert, doppelt gezahlt,
