Location is great, accessible to multiple restaurants and attractions. View is very good, over the port, but service is DISAPPOINTING. Definitely not five stars. Rooms are clean, beds are good, but showers really bad, either very hot or very cold and water pressure is terrible. Breakfast buffet is jazzed up plates of sliced cheese and ham, and several types of egg mixtures that come from a carton! No omelette or anything close to it. The hotel was full on weekend so there was a line of 20 minutes for breakfast! Although the lady in charge of Dining Area is very nice and polite, and doing her best, this is far from being a five star standard by ANY account. Finally, my flight was late in the day so I asked if I could use the Spa and was told Of Course. After using it, I was told the Showers are closed! I explained that I need to shower and change before boarding, and that I explicitly called to check if Spa is open. The manger insisted that showers are closed, it seems they are Not part of the Spa!!!. I managed to wash and change and went to complain to hotel management, only to be told that they will make it up for me “next time.” As if I will come again! No thank you. One can probably get much better accommodations with better showers in a good Air bnb in same location, rather than pay for a presumed five stars that offer disappointing service.
