Wir waren hier für drei Nächte. Sehr schönes Agroturismo, zwischen Weinreben und Wiesen. Zimmer super sauber. Betten gemütlich. Toller Pool und Liegen zum entspannen. Absolutes Highlight ist das Essen sowohl Frühstück als auch Abendessen. Auswahl nicht riesig aber was angeboten wird war super lecker. Den Wein dürfen wir nicht vergessen, zumal das Weingut dazugehört. Ebenfalls sehr ausgezeichnet und süffisant 😃. Was noch extra zu erwähnen ist, das ist die Freundlichkeit der Gastgeber und des Personals. Da fühlt man sich gleich pudelwohl. Sollten wir wieder eine Toskanatour planen dann ist dieser Ort ein Muss. Rundum eine Empfehlung.

Wir waren bereits im August 2021 für 3 Nächte als Familie hier und haben eine tolle Zeit erlebt. Sehr schönes Anwesen, tolles Wein Tasting, super leckeres Frühstück und die Gastgeber mit dem gesamten Team sehr nett und persönlich. Die beste Unterkunft in unserer Toskana Reise im letzten Jahr. Daher sind wir dieses Jahr wieder gerne gekommen und haben 4 Nächte hier verbracht. Es war genauso schön wie im letzten Jahr. Wir haben das Zimmer 3 bekommen, was wir auch im letzten Jahr hatten. Das Zimmer hat eine kleine Terrasse wo man abends wunderbar draußen sitzen kann. Die Zimmer 3 und 10 finden wir am schönsten. Das ganze Team ist spitze. Der Gastgeber hat dieses Jahr sein Angebot erweitert und bietet auch abends lokales Essen an. Die Küche ist wirklich sehr gut und die Preise sind fair. Man kann wunderbar am Pool entspannen oder Ausflüge in der näheren Umgebung unternehmen. Die Zimmer sind sehr gemütlich und sehr sauber. Wir werden sicher Stammgäste denn wir wollen auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Immer wieder gerne. Vielen Dank Marco und dem gesamten Team für die schöne Zeit...

We spent a lovely afternoon at Il Colombaio learning about their wine business, touring their facility and enjoying their wines. Also included was an amazing lunch! It is a boutique winery and a reservation must be made ahead of time. Such a fabulous day!

We were 3 friends walking the Via Francigena. The walk that day was 27/30kms from San Gimignano to Monteriggioni. We had an evening meal included with our booking. The choices offered were extremely poor and hardly sustenance. I was disgusted with what was offered - oh, of course you could pay for other options! This place is only a winery and, whilst it is in a beautiful setting and the accommodation is satisfactory, it is not really a walker's resting place. Beware a transfer to the town in a messy, filthy rattling old jeep!

2-bedroom Apartment Kitchen and seating area tastefully decorated. Kitchen provided with all the necessary equipment including washing up liquid, sponge & tea towels. Microwave, hob and kettle. Main bedroom with 1 double; second bedroom 2 singles, but plenty of space everywhere. Bathroom a good size, with wall hairdryer and lots of hooks. Nice private terrace area with a shade. Outside was just a joy - terrace for eating and stunning pool area overlooking the vines. Excellent service and good menu choice with reasonably priced own wines. Lovely pool area with stunning views and well maintained beds and tables. Interesting, personal wine tour by the owner and lots of opportunities to ask questions. Nice tasting of their Chianti wines. Attention to detail is perfect and the owners are onsite but not intrusive; just welcoming and checking everything is ok.

We had a wonderful stay here. Marco and the team were so warm and friendly and helped us a lot when we needed. We had great dinners and it was lovely to sit outside for the included breakfast. It’s a beautiful relaxing place to stay.

Four of us rented a two-bedroom apartment at this working vineyard of Fattoria il Colombaio. We were awed on arrival at the sweeping vista overlooking the vineyards and the Tuscan countryside. We had a small private patio outside our apartment with a table for al fresco dining, as well as access to the large communal patio which abuts the vineyard. Our apartment was clean, comfortable, and included a kitchen stocked with plates, glassware, and cookware. We were fortunate to have a tour of winery with Marco who shared his passion for winemaking and history of his family farm. At the wine tasting, we enjoyed some of the best Chianti we had had in Tuscany. In fact we had to ship some home. The location in Monteriggioni was perfect for easy access by car to the many beautiful Tuscan towns we wanted to visit. I highly recommend a stay at the Agriturismo Il Colombaio!

We stayed only one night as part of our Camino way walking week and how we wished all our accommodation was as brilliant and relaxing as this one. We loved everything about it. The room 10 was spotlessly clean, bright, airy and comfortable with everything we needed. A terrace to relax on and we enjoyed the homemade gin and tonic before a lovely wholesome Tuscan dinner, beautifully cooked and presented. Everything about this place spells quality and clearly a lot of interior and exterior work has been done on design. The wine was delicious and we would love to have stayed much longer. Do not hesitate to book, it’s our favourite place to stay from our week in Italy,

Bellissima location, cibo ottimo, servizio eccellente. Siamo stati accolti calorosamente e sistemati in una saletta confortevole con il caminetto accesso che rendeva l'atmosfera ancora più familiare. Essendo vegetariani hanno saputo soddisfare le nostre richieste con la lasagna di piselli (squisita) e una varietà di verdure fresche di stagione. Il tutto poi completato con un ottimo dolce fatto in casa. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente Luisa
