Meublè Evoè

A fabulous little hotel with just six rooms but lots of charm and wonderful service. We had two nights at Meuble Evoe and it was just perfect. We would happily stay here again. The two best features were the location and the warm hospitality of the owners. LOCATION: The hotel is right in the historic centre of Montepulciano, making it a perfect place for exploring the town. Wineries, restaurants, and all the main sights were all within easy walking distance. SERVICE: Honestly, the service was above and beyond. We arrived later than expected but rang ahead and Benedetta very kindly offered to stay on to help us when we arrived. This was fortunate for us because we also had trouble finding the parking spots at night. She helped us out with parking and then met us at the corner of the street so that she could take us straight to the hotel door. At the end of a long day when we were tired and lost, it made all the difference and we were very appreciative. In the planning stages of our trip, they were quick to answer emails and gave us clear directions on how to drive to the hotel (which is important because GPS directions are pretty rubbish here). On the day we checked out, they were also very accommodating in holding our bags for us while we explored the town a little further. ROOM: The room was small but comfortable and was perfectly adequate for two nights. It was very clean and nicely presented. We had a ground floor room, just off the lobby but it was quiet and we were not disturbed at all during the night. Breakfast was included - and was served buffet style in the small dining room. The cakes were delicious and we spent longer over breakfast than we normally might, enjoying a few extra cakes and coffee. CAR-PARKING: Importantly, the hotel has several free parking spots for guests. Like all the hotels in the historic centre, the parking is off-site but you can drop your luggage at the hotel first (we didn’t worry about this as the car-park was not far away).

The Hotel is not very accommodating with respect to cancellation..BEWARE....ONCE YOU BOOK OR CHANGE YOU LOOSE. CHANGED MY BOOKING 6 MONTHS AHEAD , 2 DAYS AFTER AND SAID CAN'T GET MONEY BACK...OUTRAGEOUS THAT THIS HOTEL WOULD STIFF A CUSTOMER

Wonderful place located centrally in Montepulciano. Beautiful, clean room with a wonderful staff who was very responsive and helpful in providing parking instructions, preparing a wonderful breakfast each day, and providing recommend for exploring and dinner! I would come here again!!!!!

We felt so much at home because of the care that the owners, Alessia and Benedetta, took in making us feel welcome. As travelers knowing only a little Italian, Alessia and Benedetta helped us navigate the town, and went above and beyond, such as arranging taxis for us. They exuded friendliness and professionalism. Their breakfasts are excellent as well.
