Madeline and Tim are amazing! Everything was curated for our retreat. Hats off to Tim who is the Jack of all trades -- owner, tour guide, chauffeur, fantastic chef, Madeline is the best host of Hotel Leone. She ensured everything was working properly and was always ready to recommend great places to explore and do in Le Marche. Thank you Maddy, Tim, Leonard, Leane. Our retreat was unforgettable!

Everything was glorious! I have not stopped thinking of the entire experience, Madeleine and Tim, the staff, Montelparo and the fantastic painting workshop. I loved every moment, the views, the countryside, the associated trips... and the food!! So luscious and bountiful. The hotel is a precious gem and Montelparo an exquisite, picturesque medieval village on a mountain top. Thank you Madeleine and Tim, I would love to come again, never to be forgotten!

I felt I was truly taken care of and pampered. This boutique hotel is so well appointed - every suite has its own special character and the views are spectacular. Amazing upbeat staff will take care of every detail. The moment you arrive you can feel the stress leave. There is a nice pace of events and experiences. The food is first class! Owners Madeline & Tim are kind and welcoming and make you feel like family.

5 stars is not enough to describe how good hotel Leone is. A huge thank you to Madeline and Tim and all the staff for hosting us at for a painting holiday. The hotel was perfect, the food amazing and the staff could it have been more welcoming or helpful.

What a perfect experience. Hotel Leone was the ideal location for a relaxing getaway from the noisy crowds of the bigger cities. Beautiful property, amazing service, just the best people all around. From our arrival on Day 1 the attention to detail was fantastic. Madeline and Tim have done an outstanding job of creating the perfect little getaway. They worked with our group to organize the best experiences - from relaxing by the pool, to local food excursions and classes, to day trips in the region, it is hard to pick one thing above all the others! The staff - Liene and Leonard in the bar and restaurant, Sarah in the kitchen, and the lovely ladies who serviced the buildings and rooms so efficiently - Hotel Leone hit the jackpot! And I haven't even mentioned the meals that their restaurant creates (in their gorgeous dining room). They catered to food allergies and sensitivities, and provided options for vegetarians in the group. I always left the table happy, and stuffed! This is the perfect place for a retreat - whether painting, arts, yoga, food & wine, or just R & R. Don't expect to go shopping and spending money in town; it is a small community, which is what I loved so much about it! There was never the pressure of needing to buy things; it was all about the experiences. If shopping is your thing, a day excursion in the region is the way to go (mainly because you get to come home to Leone at the end of the day for another fantastic meal!) I am grateful for the experience and hopeful that I get to return soon!

I was fortunate enough to be able to join a group of women on a special getaway at Hotel Leone. Some of us in the group, it was a working trip, and the rest was for pleasure. Within our group, was many different requirements, either food restrictions, space or items needed. To say Madeline and Tim, as well as their entire staff, made each one of us feel special and heard, would be an understatement. They are all willing to help and meet you at your individual needs. We had several different tours booked, and they were absolutely wonderful! it would be hard to choose a favorite. The hotel was exceptional in every way. The food, the beverages, the decor, the comfortability, and the cleanliness were all top-notch. The town of Montelparo was welcoming and friendly. Not to mention absolutely beautiful! There is not one thing I would change! Well done Madeline and Tim! Bravo!! I will return 100%!
