Sandals Montego Bay All Inclusive - Couples Only

Thought long and hard about the scoring of this review as we chose the wrong resort so that isn’t their fault However when looking at scores for other places that we loved I feel I have scored correctly We chose wrong. We’ve been to 2 other sandals resorts and loved them . See previous reviews but this one was wrong for us on many levels and was a poorer resort in its offerings It’s too busy and brash for us with many groups here. The sandals brand is sold on being for couples but not really here! Yes lots of couples but lots in big groups. And a great sense of entitlement from many guests showing a lack of consideration for others. The overall look of the resort on a beautiful beach is superb and the grounds are beautiful and so well kept. The staff are very friendly too and all smile and say hello ( with the odd exception) Location 10 minutes drive from the airport and from the backs of the rooms ( Almond) you can see the airport runway! From late morning to early evening you can hear and see planes taking off! It’s not too disturbing. It’s not like being on the flight path for Heathrow but for 10 seconds or so you do hear the aircraft each time one takes off. Welcome Compared with other sandals check ins it wasnt very friendly. There was just us and one other person ( where was his partner?) and we were the only ones staying club. Concierge brought us a cold towel then someone else took us through to the club lounge to check in! I think we were then passed through a couple of others before one of them took us to our room. Brief tour and that was it . No details given on resort/ restaurant opening and closing/ use of app/ Gina etc . At other sandals we have found this a bit drawn out but this was completely the other way and we would have liked a bit more info on the place really particularly as work is being done on the main restaurant building and this has impacted When and where places are open. Accommodation/ room In Almond building on 3rd floor. Great view. Quiet. Comfortable all we needed. Club room so have their facilities too which include full mini bar with spirits stocked up daily . Also room service if required - we didn’t use this but could see a lot did by number of plates outside rooms. Club lounge available with sofas, drinks and tvs Food/ dining Overall poor. Best meals were Butches, Soy and Cucina Romana for breakfast and dinner - Italian The rest quite poor to average. Cold food at Bayside dinner ( French) and uncooked vegetables Very poor at Stewfish, again cold and waitress just didn’t seem interested Tokyo Jos! Great concept but poor delivery. Waitress rushed through her script, didn’t ask us if we wanted drinks so we had to get own from bar which she then told us off for doing ( Racquel) and just mediocre tasting food with too much oil. This was our second trip to Sandals, Montego Bay. We also stayed at this resort in Oct. 2022 for our honeymoon! We absolutely loved the food, service, cleanliness, and the ocean views are spectacular. Kemar with entertainment was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay incredible! We played games and he always had a smile on his face and a big wave when we saw him around the resort. We remembered him from our first trip because of how much fun he was! He was definitely oneof the reasons we did a repeat trip to Montego Bay! If I had to complain about something, it would be that some of the servers seemed to be annoyed with our presence and made it seem like a chore to serve us. (There were 4 of us) A few of the bartenders also seemed to get upset when we would order a round of drinks, especially at the pool. While some were absolutely incredible and very outgoing and attentive! You will find the good ones very quickly. We also noticed that this year when we went, they did not have all the shows at night with the dancers! We loved the shows they performed every night. They were upbeat and had incredible dance routines, music, and costumes. The steal drum band they brought in this year and the acrobatic show on the beach was amazing! Overall the resort is beautiful, the drinks are delicious, and the food is phenomenal. You get what you pay for. We booked another trip on the way out. :)

My husband and I went to Sandals MoBay for our anniversary in November. We had a Beachfront Honeymoon Butler Suite w/ Balcony Tranquility Soaking Tub. Our butlers were named Cassandra and Dalton. The suite was wonderful. It had all the amenities. Big bathroom, stocked fridge, big bed, sitting room that could be closed off to watch tv, the balcony had an amazing view of the Caribbean Sea, and the soak tub was probably my favorite thing. House keeping came twice a day -once in the morning to tidy up and again at night for turn down service and to tidy up again. Everything was wonderful. The butlers were AMAZING. They were always one thought ahead of us in what we would need or want to do. I would absolutely request them again and recommend them to anyone going. The food and drinks were great. The beach was beautiful. The landscaping was breathtaking. All the staff we had interactions with were overall so nice. We did not do any excursions or leave the resort so I cannot speak to that. We had a couples massage at Red Lane Spa -so good. There is absolutely so much that could be written about. Our experience was 10/10.

The best Sandals and best adults only AI you can go to. First…the staff. Quite honestly I could not have asked for better staff across the board. Swaby and Chaira were our butlers and they bent over backwards to make our stay unreal! I loved that they took initiative and made us feel like we legit did not need to think about any aspect. They are truly the best. The guest experience manager - Christopher G - is one of the most incredible people we have ever met in the sandals/beaches brand in management. Not to take away from the GM, Christopher E who is also fabulous. We actually hit our 70th night here so we are frequent visitors the brands, second visit to MB and would not hesitate to go back.

Such an amazing experience from start to finish! The people are so welcoming I truly felt like I was at home. A couple people I will never forget are dj delano who always kept the party going and made the entire experience second to none. If you get a chance make sure to check out all the entertainment. Also Careesa who was so sweet and always made sure we had a drink and were taken care of. She’s always smiling and her personality is a rarety❤️

We took a belated honeymoon to this resort after a June wedding. It was our first Sandals, our first time in Jamaica, and our first time overseas together. It did not disappoint! I really never want to vacation any other way! The accommodations in our Club Level beach walkout room were outstanding. The Club Sandals extras when helping with advice and bookings were wonderful. Being able to wake up and walk out into the sand was almost indescribable, and we were maybe 30 yards from the crystal blue water. Calm seas made it great for floating and looking for the white seashells thanks to that clean water. I'm not sure you are never more than 50 yards from a restaurant or 75 yards from a bar. Every place we ate was fantastic and the gars have signature drinks with entertaining bartenders. Every single staff person was smiling, friendly, and helpful. I can't wait to do this again!
