Hotels in der Nähe von City Museum, Monte Porzio Catone

Sono certa che ognuno di noi abbia la propria scala di fattori per valutare se un posto e' bello o brutto ma che siano le persone il valore aggiunto. In questo hotel pulito, carino e molto comodo , vicino alla stazione di Roma Termini sono proprio le persone che fanno di un piccolo hotel, un punto di riferimento per i nostri viaggi a Roma. Paola della reception e' stata, ed è, la persona che ci ha seguito in fase di prenotazione e che si è fatta in quattro per aiutarci a proiettare le nostre fotografie su una parete, di una saletta allestita solamente per noi, un gruppetto di fotografi arrivati in città per un corso di fotografia di due giorni. Das Hotel hat einen gewissen Charme, sobald Sie ins Geh. Es gibt keinen Glitz oder Glamour, nur ein gewisses gut eingerichtetes Gefühl über das Holzwerk und Dekor. Rezeption war immer groß, handle Dinge effektiv ohne Schmutz. Zimmer sind grundlegende, aber es ist ein 3-Sterne so nicht mehr erwarten. Mein Badezimmer hatte sicherlich eine Re-Fit in den letzten Jahren, so dass es groß war. Frühstück ist ein einfaches Buffet, konzentriert auf Kaffee, Croissants, Paste und kaltes Fleisch / Käse. Was ist nicht zu mögen. Großer Preis für seine Lage.

Well, before I go into detail I must say the staff there is really really helpful and friendly. Grazie mille! We stayed there on a school trip for about a week. Also other school groups were there. That is not a major problem if you can handle some noise (it was really bearable). The problem was the rooms: I got the impression there were designed to be double rooms due to the size. But some of them had 4 beds in them. That might work for smaller children but not for students older than 18 yrs. It was so narrow one could hardly walk nor find some privacy for the belongings. Maybe it eas not the hotel's fault but more the company we booked with. Still 4 beds are way too many in such a small room. The rest was simply fine. Internet worked more or less ok but we were not depending on it. So all good. The breakfast was ok. We thought there might be some fresh fruits or so. Only on the last day there were some offers. The rest of the week: toast, ham, cheese, sometimes bacon and egg, cornflakes and some sweet things like mini cakes or so. That was it basically. But don't take it as a complaint but maybe as a suggestion. The hotel itself is on a rather quiet street, 500m or so to walk to Termini, the main station. The closest metro station is Manzoni. Trams are in walking distance. Some mice pubs or restaurants too. The student quarter is just behind the old town wall which is behind the houses opposite of the hotel. So all in all is a decent hotel. If you expect a luxurious stay this might be not your hotel. But if you need somewhere to sleep after exploring the city and still wanna see some friendly Italians (namely the awesome staff) then this is your place.

Wir sind in diesem Wochenende Gast in dieser Unterkunft. Wir sind eine Gruppe von 5 Freunden in Rom für Arbeit und jetzt erzähle ich Ihnen unsere Erfahrung. Villetta Suite ist nicht nur ein Ort. Es ist eine Erfahrung. Wir haben eine Behandlung mit größtmöglicher freundlichkeit, Garten und Verfügbarkeit vorbehalten. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig, die Struktur ist sehr schön und gut gepflegt. Das Personal ist wunderbar, mit einer spektakulären Bildung und cortesität. Aber ein besonderer und gehörter Applaus schulde ich dem Eigentümer (oder Manager) Luca: professionell, immer verfügbar, freundlich und elegant. Ein junger Junge, der sich als wunderbarer Hausmeister erwiesen hat, der die Anforderungen aller Kunden (auch der zu anspruchsvollen wie wir) erfüllen kann 😅. Wenn wir mehr Sterne zuweisen könnten, würden wir es gerne tun. Dank allen Mitarbeitern der Villetta Suite. ❤️

Great modern room and terrace in a beautiful old building. Very spacious and spotless room and bathroom, plenty of closet space and shelving (even in the bathroom!) to unpack. Perfect firm mattress and pillows, serious blackout curtains, and very well sound-proofed. A very short walk to the historic city center and Villa d'Este, a 10 minute drive to Villa Adriana. Delightful breakfast of fruits, fresh pastry, yogurt, insanely tasty fruit juice, and optional eggs. Friendly, easy-going host.

Our delegation of scientists, who came to Rome to participate in the International Scientific Congress, are very dissatisfied with the hotel's service, service and unkind attitude. Due to the cancellation of the flight and the strike of the train service personnel in Milan central station, we arrived late on July 13 instead of July 10 at the mentioned hotel, which we had already purchased from July 10 to July 17. The hotel administration had information about our travel problems, despite the confirmation that we would keep the purchased rooms, they did not wait for us and resold our rooms. When we arrived at the place, instead of empathy and support, they threatened us and showed aggression towards us. i.e. Both our reservation and the money we paid were lost and we got a lot of psychological shock/stress. And after that, of course, we will have only negative comments, especially about the employee Angelica, who was completely rude, and I think that such employees bring down the rating of the hotel, any service provider organization, and the entire country.

Ich habe in diesem Hotel zwei negative Erfahrungen gemacht, von denen eine sehr unangenehm war. Zuerst konnte das Hotel meine Reservierung nicht mehr finden, was aber sehr schnell behoben wurde. Dann, am Abend des vierten Tages meines Aufenthaltes, fand ich auf meinem Bett einen Umschlag mit einer Geldstrafe von 50 Euro darin. An der Rezeption wurde mir kühl erklärt, dass das daran liege, dass das Rauchen im Zimmer verboten sei. Die Putzfrau hätte beim Putzen des Zimmers den Zigarettengeruch gerochen. Das Problem ist, dass ich Nichtraucher bin und den Geruch von Zigaretten auch nicht ertragen kann. Besonders unangenehm war es, die Empfangsdame davon überzeugen zu müssen, dass ich nicht rauche. Schließlich zog sie die Geldstrafe zurück. Ich war 5 Mal in diesem Hotel und fairerweise muss ich sagen, dass der Rest perfekt ist. Das Personal ist professionell (bis auf das Bußgeld!), lächelnd und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind sehr gut ausgestattet und geräumig. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und es besteht die Möglichkeit, im Hotel zu Abend zu essen.

Tatty, grubby common areas with dirty carpets and peeling wallpaper. The path down to the lake is too overgrown to get down there. Entrance is through a disused bar then some little rooms with mismatched old furniture to a small lobby area. Man behind the desk seemed surprised to see guests and gave us a key with no explanation as to where the room was or any other information. Room was spacious and clean but very old fashioned - we had a view of the lake which we had to pay 20 euros extra for on top of the 120 euro room rate which was way too high for the standard - it was the most expensive overnight stop of our 5 week tour and was the worst. Small flat pillow each and poor sound insulation which meant we were kept awake until 330 am by an elderly resident's radio. The restaurant was the best part of the stay - it is in a glass area overlooking the lake and is modern and contemporary. The food was amazing - really high standard but was spoilt by the total lack of ambience as we were the only ones dining apart from 2 elderly residents who stayed for a short time. Also the service was glacial. We were the first people in the restaurant and it took 75 mins for our first course and another hour for the other two courses. It is a shame that such a talented chef is working somewhere where he cannot be appreciated. This place could be amazing with its proximity to Rome, its food and position.

Wir hatten einen Familienurlaub für 3 Nächte, das Hotel ist sehr schön eingerichtet, sehr modern, alle Mitarbeiter sehr kompetent und freundlich, vom Hotel bis ins Zentrum sind wir ca. 30 min mit dem Bus gefahren. Das Auto konnten wir in der Hotel-eigenen Tiefgarage parken. In der direkten Umgebung gibt es Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder!
