Casitas at the Hoodoo Moab, Curio Collection by Hilton

This place was awesome. The casitas are spacious and beautiful. We had plenty of space for 6 of us. Fireplaces kept us warm and we utilized the patio on the first floor and balconies on the second floor ehich were accessed from both bedrooms. Service was good, too. When we called for more coffee and trash bags and trash removal they were taken care of quickly. This location is 1 block from the center of town so we walked to dinner and drinks every night. The living room, kitchen and dining area were large and perfect for evening socializing. Our group used the hotel pool and hot tub and loved that as well. Location is also close to Arches and Canyonland so we had easy access to daytime hiking and nighttime stargazing. We would definitely stay here again.

This stay was magical. We had such a wonderful stay at the Casitas. It was absolutely perfect for our little family. We were able to cook dinner and bake cookies in our kitchen while playing games, watching movies and just relaxing. It was so comfortable in the casitas that we almost failed to make it into the national parks, our main purpose for visiting Moab. The staff was super kind and accommodating and made our stay extra special. Truly, we made an excellent memory with our family and were so glad we picked the Casitas at the Hoodoo Moab for our lodging. I would 100% go back and recommend anyone staying in Moab to stay at the casitas. A special shout out to Lisa Knight, General Manager who runs a wonderful hotel. We can tell that all the details are being looked at and the staff are all incredibly trained.

Large space with full kitchen, 3 bathrooms, 2 fireplaces, access to the main hotel gym and spa, convenient parking by villas, and walkable to Moab downtown. We were surprised by how large the rooms were and how many bathrooms the villa had. It also had such a great kitchen and dining area. Wish more hotels across the country offered this, more room to roam. Thanks Hoo Doo for bringing the Casitas to the area! We met so many nice people from all around the country staying at the property too, just an excellent stay.

This is our first night here. I am dreading the next two nights and figuring out if I am going to pack everything up and find another hotel. The place is fairly new but not well kept. It doesn’t seem like they get much occupancy in the casitas. This stay was not comfortable at all. The casita is large and spacious. Everything else was disappointing. We have stayed at other places in Moab for fraction of the price and much cleaner. The carpets weren’t vacuum and appeared dirty. The sinks had hair in them. The kitchen had stove and dishwasher without any dishwasher detergent and sponges. The dishes in the kitchen were dirty like they haven’t been used in a long time and bugs and dust in them. The beds were gross. The top of the beds had dead bugs and little pieces of trash on them. One of the beds had a dead bug. Like they just been kept empty for a long time. The king bed had really used bedding, it was rough on the feet part. It felt dirty. The cold front is coming. The thermostat does not work correctly. It was freezing and it kept going back down to 69 even thought I kept adjusting to 73. Now it’s hot. For this price, it is truly disappointing experience. Don’t waste your money here.
