Casa Suyay

Good location in miraflores near Kennedy park. Good sized rooms with plenty hot water . Regrettably the noise at night (2 -4am) is extreme and not managed by hotel staff. Been in South America for six weeks and this was worst breakfast we had. Preferred to eat out and pay the extra for better food.

Great located hotel in de area of Miraflores. Staff is friendly and speaks good English. Rooms are clean, and the shower is great! We had a nice breakfast with good fresh coffee. You must stay at this great hotel!! We had a pick up from the airport if Lima, which is recommended! I give 5*

Regrettably there was no water throughout our stay at the hotel. Our group of 5 arrived from the airport tired and in need of a shower, only to find the taps and shower dry. I tried to call reception to discuss but the in room phone wasn't working. After walking from the top floor to reception I was informed that the water hadn't been working for a while. Why would you not inform your guests of this when checking in?? No water when we arrived back later that evening and no water when we left very early the following morning. We asked for bottled water so we could wash and this was declined. Unacceptable. The hotel itself is very noisy and you can hear every word other guests say as they arrive and leave. The room was clean and tidy which is the only positive and the reason for a 2* review. I'm still trying to resolve the water issue now but Casa Suyay have steadfastly ignored *********** for many weeks. Really poor service. I am a regular visitor to Lima and regrettably could not recommend this hotel.

We arrived here after a long flight and hour and a half transfer from the airport absolutely exhausted. The lobby was lovely, v quirky, and the lady who checked us in very helpful. That sadly is where the positives ended! We were given a room at the back of the hotel. The room was fine, nothing special but ok, but we were next to a nightclub, we could literally hear the lyrics of the songs and it didn’t stop until 4am! Breakfast was a brioche type roll and cold coffee and the gentleman on reception in the morning was v unhelpful. Did we ask to move rooms? No because we were knackered and couldn’t hear the thought of having to Move. That’s why I haven’t given a one or two as unfair when they didn’t have the chance to rectify but honestly give this place a miss and stay at one of the hundreds of other places in Lima!

Amazing expérience at Casa Suyay ! We visited in January 2023 during the time of social unrest in Perú and the hotel staff couldn’t be kinder. They provided a lot of information to us about what was going and also flexibility in terms of terms of nights stayed, allowing us to organized our trip according to how the situation was evolving. At the end we had the pleasure to stay 4 nights with them . The hotel itself is great ! Located in the heart of Miraflores, a very safe neighborhood, close to bars and restaurants but conveniently located in a quiet street so no issues sleeping. The room was very good and cleans and the breakfast very good considering the price we paid. Thanks a lot to the team for making our stay in Peru much better !

Really good value for the buck! Its not a luxury hotel with AC and fancy stuff. On the other hand, AC is not needed in Lima, and the hotel offers a lot of nice eye candy in the common areas. Breakfast is included and is simple but good. I can recommend this hotel to anyone on a budget who wants excellent value!
