I came to North Sydney to purchase my vehicle, our bookings got canceled due to weather so we choose the highland motel for our stay, we went in and got a room, paid, filled out the paper with our name and number, and before we left the man gave us a small heater, we proceeded to our room, we walked in and it was cold, smelt mouldy, the paint on the walls was outlined around the furniture, the toilet was painted pink, the tub was filthy, the curtains was hung with hooks, the floor was sticky, and mould in around the windows! The microwave wasn’t fit for a rat to live in . We refused to stay there after seeing the room, I went back in and told this man we made other arrangements for the night I’d like to have my money back (only being there long enough to see how dirty it was) and he refused to give me my money back, he told me the owner wouldn’t allow it, so I asked for the owners number, he wrote it down on the receipt, I called it and he wouldn’t answer, so I blocked my number and he answered (come to realize it was the man at the hotel) when he realized it was me he hung up on me !!!!!! I don’t recommend it, very unprofessional, disgusting, gross, a complete waste of money and time !
