This is the worst place iv stayed at it was dirty Bed no mattress protector mattress was all stained and collapsed in had to sleep on the quilt and used my coat and jumped as a blanket No lamp in room no kettle not even a glass to get a drink the carpet hadn't seen a hoover for a few days and the skirting border hadn't been cleaned for god knows how long tv didn't work Bathroom moldy shower door didn't shut no toilet roll holder or towel rail nothing to hang clothes on and no bin Would of left but was 11pm

Wow. What a place. Bleak. Literally a hole in my window. Half the blind was hanging off. Mould. Peeling paint in the bathroom. Bathroom door handle was missing. Tv was "smart" but out of WiFi range. Cold room. If you are thinking of staying here, don't. I'd be more comfy sleeping in my car.

I booked my daughters 1st birthday party at this venue and the manager walked out and they had double booked the room, it was only the bouncy castle hire that had rang the venue for car parking arrangements to be sold they had no history of my booking. This alone ruined my daughter’s 1st birthday. Since then I have been constantly visiting and ringing the premises to get my £100 deposit back that we was taken by card so the business received the money not the manager who walked out of the business. Every time I call the manager is not on duty and most of the times I have visited she also is not on site, she never returned any of my calls where I left a message. They have accepted NO responsibility that as a business they received my money and although it was unfortunate that their manager walked out this is not the first time this year that has happened and I’m not surprised people don’t want to work in such a poorly run business. I have STILL not received the deposit back and I am having to do their job by chasing head office which also are useless as there’s no contact number for them and they ignore their emails, seems to be a common theme in this business and the type of people they employ. This has happened to several people I know so I would defiantly avoid at all costs and take your money elsewhere before you’re let down and your special event is ruined.

ZERO star rating. Consider twice before booking a stay here. Don’t be fooled by the photos. From the moment we set foot into the building it was infused with smoke (very likely that people are smoking inside despite a fine if caught doing so). The attitude of the new so called ‘manager’ was utterly disgraceful when I complained to her that our room was filthy (hadn’t been cleaned prior to us checking in). There was thick layers of dust everywhere, black mould in the bathroom, stains on the walls, no heating, no bin, no curtains, food and drinks in the drawers, no batteries in TV remote control and a foul cigarette odour. Blaming this appalling level of standard on “only taking over since Monday” is completely unacceptable and giving us a key to a room that apparently “someone lives in” should never of happened. I most certainly won’t be returning here nor would I recommend this dump to anyone. In future, read the job description for a management position as you most certainly are incompetent of doing so.

I would give 0 stars if there was an option. Avoid this place like the plague! We booked my brothers wedding reception here but there was change of management after we booked, I was told someone would contact me but never did, rang numerous times no call back from manager so we had to go up there and hope she was in! We were promised a better deal with the food as she said we was being ripped off being charged £716 for the catering!!! Comes to the day and it looked liked we had only £70 worth of food and to be told this is what we supply but yet I got no money back after paying £716 to cater 80 people. The hot food was cold, the sandwiches had been left out and there were no utensils for serving. We was told guests could arrive and go straight in but when they arrived they were told they could not go in and was made to wait outside. The cake was still in the cellar along with the favour boxes. The tea urn we had booked was apparently broken and then we had to ask for the juice to be brought out as that was forgotten. There was only 1 bar staff between 2 bars and one card machine, 2 staff walked out. We was being served in small plastic white cups as they ran out of glasses, we was told it ended at 23.30pm yet guests that was staying there said music was going on till after 2am! There was no senior management on the night they left young staff to manage on their own! We have used this club for years but it’s gone really down hill. No communication what so ever the one only staff member that actually tried to help us was Lisa and the only one that seem to care. Why advertise you hold events if they don’t know how to run one!!! They should have there license provoked and stop robbing people and ruining their special moments in their life’s!!!

We had book our wedding here as we had many parties here before , but will not have one here again it was rubbish . First the person who was sorting the wedding out left saying the new manager will be in touch it took for us to go in 3 weeks before the wedding to speak to someone as we couldn’t get no one to speak to . Then the manger was hard to speak eventually we did and sort everything out and she offered us better then we had . We paid up a weeek before to have another member of staff keep say the manager leaving . Come to the day we had said for guest to go straight in they stop them . They had not put the cake out . One member of staff serving the two bars as other staff would not stay . Ended up having drinks in plastic cups as no clean glasses and then told had to get out by 11.30 even tho they had another thing going on to 1 in the morning. Had some guest stay and had no sleep has people running up and down the corridor most of the night .
