"new property but less than exciting. service was poor but not really surprising when we learned it is managed by the same team as manage the Home 2 next door. the rooms are extremely tiny - you have to go out into the hall to change your mind... we requested housekeeping during our stay and receive it once. I had go to the front desk and ask for clean towels. (no one really cares) the breakfast is buffet style, no butter, limited selection of amenities, when they fill the plastic cutlery trays, they do so with the handles down... I explained to the young man who was attending why it was wrong, no one had explained how to do it, but he thanked me and fixed them. the next morning it was wrong again however the front desk person filled them that morning who was also trained wrong. Given the management it is no wonder service is poor, staff are inadequately trained, and cleaning is substandard. as you would expect given the common senior management."

"We loved the room, as it was so spacious and even had a dishwasher and tableware. The breakfast was okay overall, enough to snack at the beginning of your day. But, I have very bad concerns about the bedding hygiene. There are no proper duvet covers, and the bedsheets are synthetic, so you wake up finding the bedsheet somewhere on the side, and your body is right under the blanket itself. I don’t think that the hotel launders the blanket after each customer, as well as the top cover. And it did not really feel nice considering how many other bodies touched the same blanket and what possible health consequences it might have for me and my family. It’s not the first hotel in Canada that has the same issue, but I believe that such a big chain as Hilton should reconsider their bedding to make their customers feel safe. We’ve traveled a lot in Europe and Asia, stayed in various hotels including Hilton, and I never had an issue like that there. So it might be the local thing, and it does not feel nice at all."
