Lagada Beach Hotel

No customer service - we picked this affordable hotel and prepaid directly as breakfast was supposed to be included. Upon arrival all of a sudden it wasn't. We were promised a partial refund after we departed that never came, not even responding to our emails why we wouldn't receive one. WiFi did not really work, no beach towels provided and the umbrellas did not really provide any shade. Location is good and the rooms themselves are okay - though our shower was clogged. You can get better B&B options in town for the the same price.

A perfect location in the port, close to ferry excursions and fabulous restaurants. Besides a great pool and beachfront, the hotel does not offer much else . There is no longer any breakfast. That’s ok , lots of nearby places to eat, however coffee would be appreciated. Cottages are cute and basic . We had shower issues and a very noisy fridge . It was a quaint and lovely place.

Quiet hotel, very close to the port. Very typical, beachfront hotel. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms a good size. With an outdoor pool and two steps from the beach for those who prefer. We stayed in the traditional Greek rooms, facing the sea. It was very nice. Breakfast had little variety, but it could be due to the time of year, as it was low season.

We booked through a cheap travel agent so we didn’t expect a luxury 5* hotel. I guess there are different room options depending on the price. We got what we paid for. Bare minimum facilities. Nice breakfast and pool area. Very accessible place, 2 min from Port and Adamantas.

Stayed here with 3 friends. Booked 2 rooms both of which were very clean and comfortable. Basic rooms with a fridge to keep your drinks chilled. Breakfast was provided (buffet style) lots of choice and great coffee. Great position too. Short walk from the main area and close to a small beach. For the price this is an excellent choice.

First the positives.. location. Close to the harbour and all the amenities that Adamantas has to offer. Also easy to get public transport nearby. I had a sea view which was lovely. Breakfast was adequate, but not enjoyable. Overcooked eggs, cold bacon… but there were a variety of other options. BUT… the bathroom stank! Some sewerage problems, not uncommon on Greek islands, but this hotel is very aware of the problem and does nothing about it. No drinking water is provided in the rooms. This is very poor as you can not safely drink from the tap, so it is a need for guests. I asked to have one bottle of water before going to buy more for myself but was told ‘we don’t give water to guests’. The ‘hotel’ has listed many amenities on Trip Adviser. Many of them do not exist - there is no bar, no pool bar, no coffee shop… in fact there is nowhere on the premises where you can buy any food or drink at all. The tennis court is cracked and broken,definitely not fit for purpose. No telephone in the room There is not a 24 hour reception service. I was wandering around looking for a member of staff at about midnight, but there was nobody and the reception area was locked. I did not see any spa treatments or salon as listed in amenities, but to be fair I was not looking for them so maybe they were available somewhere. The beach is listed as private… it is not. This, however, is not a problem for me as a beach should be enjoyed by everyone. Be aware that the ‘hotel’ does not provide umbrellas on the beach. You can find this amenity further along the beach but they belong to a different business and will charge you €10 per person for their use. In summary, this hotel is tired, in need of some attention. Inadequately staffed, with very few amenities. If you are looking for a very simple room to rent then this may suit you, just don’t expect too much!
