Hotel Mikołajki Leisure & Spa - Destigo Hotels

This is a truly beautiful hotel with a very unique design. The rooms are separated from the main building and accessible through a covered and uncovered bridge. The spa offers lots of different saunas, steam baths and showers. It is walking distance to the center of town and port. Breakfast is very good with a lot of choices.

Very nice impressions: nice hotel, beautifully located, spacious rooms, view of the lake, friendly service, delicious breakfasts. There is also a swimming pool and saunas. You can really relax.

Great hotel, average service. It’s clearly the best hotel in that place but the welcome was “check in is at 4 pm” not a “how was your trip”, not a single “how are you”. It was a very disappointing arrival experience. It’s an industry to look after people…. You clearly failed. But afterwards it got a bit better

What a disappointment! The hotel has 5-stars but it’s worth a maximum of 3. Even some 3-stars hotels are way better… The hotel sees itself as a “luxury” spot. But the luxury is far from present. The only magnificent that the hotel offers is the location and the view. The negatives: * There is no coffee machine (nespresso or similar) in the “premium” room. The hotel told us, that this is only for the appartement-rooms. * Fitness or gym is suited for 2 people max. It’s far from well equipped and to call that a gym is really offending. It’s more like a place where you can do some exercises on your own. GOOD TO KNOW: it opens from 9-21, but it has to be opened by the staff, you can’t enter by yourself. * We didn’t received any bathroom amenities, and the products in the shower were of low quality. * The room is outdated. * Our shower was broken - it was coming out of the wall. Terrible. * The breakfast is great, but there are no fresh squeezed juices * Breakfast roomservice: extra charging of something that already was included (juice) + no pepper/salt * THE STAFF is more than unfriendly, they are rude and are not eager to help. We felt awkward when saying that our shower was broken. The pluses: * There is an ironingboard and an iron in the room. * the view is amazing and calming. * We received a bottle of red wine: very nice gesture! * Airconditioning: quiet and good working! * The beds are comfortable, but the hotel offers ONLY single beds - you can put them together to create a “double bed effect”. We are not planning to go back to the hotel or recommend it to any of our friends. There are so much better options compared to other hotels is the Mazurien area (price-quality).

Really enjoyable stay at hotel. View from balcony on lake was just great. Room was very clean and well supplied. Breakfast was exceptional, big variety of fruits and vegetables, and even local specialities. Nice addition for colder days during summer is club with bowling and bilard.

Hotel zdecydowanie nie jest przeznaczony na wypoczynek z dziećmi. Basen to mini sadzaweczka gdzie każdy o każdego się ociera bo tak mały jest, basen dla dzieci natomiast ma wielkość ( nie głębokość) niecki do mycia stóp. Pokoje designerskie aczkolwiek widać że zarządcy nie panują nad wszystkim. Zaczynając od początku: W recepcji spędziliśmy prawie 45 minut czekając na zameldowanie, co w przypadku hotelu pięciogwiazdkowego jest karygodne. Panie w recepcji to świeżo zatrudniona kadra która niewiele wie, sprzeczne informacje przekazywane nam telefonicznie jaki fizycznie będąc już na miejscu dotyczące pór posiłków. Obiadokolacja w horrendalnej cenie 130 zł za osobę dorosłą i 104 za dziecko, a do wyboru raptem cztery Dania z chłodnych bemarów. Dla dzieci na obiadokolację nie było nic poza kanapkami. Śniadania standardowe ale wszystko chłodne. Do sali zabaw w spokoju idzie się około 10 minut co już powoduje frustrację u dzieci.
