Am Tag des Eincheckens war es spät in der Nacht, da ich aus China kam, also blieb mir nichts anderes übrig, als ein Hotel zu buchen. Ich habe viele Sachen mitgenommen und wollte gerade mein Handy herausnehmen, um dem Laden die Bestellung zu zeigen. Ich habe nicht erwartet, dass es fertig ist Als ich morgens aufstand, weil ich den ersten Bus erwischte, regnete es stark. Ich hatte vor, in den Laden zu gehen, um einen ihrer alten Regenschirme zu kaufen. Der Laden sagte, dass sie mich nicht ablehnen könnten, aber er drehte sich um und ging zurück ins Zimmer und nahm diesen kleinen Regenschirm. Ich sagte mir, dass dieser Regenschirm zwar klein ist, aber in Ordnung sein sollte. Ich brauche dein Geld nicht und gebe es dir. Als internationaler Student bin ich sehr bewegt.

This is a wonderful hotel, unfortunately we were put into the smallest room, one that was so small and filled with unusable furniture that there was no space for one guest let alone two. Getting around meant one person had to stay on the bed while the other crawled to the sink or shower room. The room was so tiny that staying in it was a constant source of tension, the kind of tension that can ruin a vacation. It was so small, it was almost impossible to step into the room and move aside so you could close the door behind you. There is a similar problem maneuvering into the shower. So if you want to stay in this hotel definitely ask not to be put in room 214. It's torture. Management would do well to remove the bed, the nightstand, the chair (which cannot be used because it has to be crammed so close to the small bed), and the small table next to the chair that also cannot be used. Replace the furniture with tatami, futons and a couple of pads to sit on. Now, moving on from the agitation of being sentenced to Room 214, this hotel has a lot going for it. The staff is super helpful and friendly. The hotel and the Onomichi train station share the same building -- a brand new building -- so as soon as you step off the train, you're at your hotel. Also, the building is completely soundproof. You will not hear or feel trains rumbling by or any noise from the bus and car traffic from in front of the hotel. The rooms have cathedral ceilings, not just high ceilings but vaulted ceilings, which I'm sure would have felt luxurious had we not been stuck in Room 214. The rooms also have high windows that give you a lot of ambient light and, I'm sure, great views from some of the rooms. Before being pointed to your room, you are brought to an amenity counter and allowed to take as many packets of luxury face washes, night creams and other cosmetics as you desire. A N'espresso machine and coffee capsules await you in your room. Once again, this is a wonderfully charming and modern hotel in a wonderfully charming and funky city. We plan to return to Onomichi when it is not so hot -- and stay in this hotel. But we'll ask for a larger room.

Geblieben 1N. Dieses ist ein sehr kleines Hotel. Es befindet sich vor dem Wasser und schönen Sakura-Bäumen. Die Lobby befindet sich auf der Rückstraße und das Restaurant befindet sich vor dem Gebäude. Eincheckung war schnell und das Personal des Frontbüros war Gastgeber. Ich wurde ein Zimmer mit dem Wasser und den Sakura-Bäumen, die in voller Blume waren, zugewiesen. Das Zimmer ist typisch klein nach japanischen Standards. Nur 1 kleine harte Kuchen, festes Bett. Stärker Wifi-Signal. Das Frühstück war ein Halbbuffet - die Haupt kamen in einem Trage und die Brötchen, Getreide und Saft waren Selbstbedienung. Der Besitzer ist ein älterer Herr, der das Problem mit dem Frühstück getroffen hat und die Gäste grüßte. Keine On-site-Osse. Sie müssen einen Taxi zum nächsten Bad nehmen.

We stayed here for one night in between our bike ride on the shimanami kaido. We choose to do the bike route in two days to relax and enjoy it. Room: We had a very good futon in our room. The decoration is very nice. It is clean and simple yet beautifull. Service: the staff is amazing here. They helped my boyfriend plan a romantic dinner in the restaurant opposite the hotel (also an amazing good restaurant!). Location: The hotel is in a good location on Ikuchijima. It is not that far off the main cycle route and the town is very nice to walk through. Not many people may stop during the bike route, but we do recommend it. It is important to also see the local culture and towns on the islands. Breakfast was served in SOIL and was amazing! You can choose for Japanese or western style breakfast. We personnaly prefer the Japanse breakfast. Their coffee is also quite good. The design of SOIL is very beautifull. We felt very relaxed during our breakfast. A special thank you to the hotel staff for helping plan our special moment at their hotel and at the restaurant. ＜3

Ich lebte den Tag vor meiner Abreise. Der Transportdienst reagierte sofort, das Personal war sehr zufrieden. Die Einrichtungen sind sehr reich und die Einrichtungen sind sehr sauber, ich kann komfortabel leben. Wichtig ist, dass ich gehört habe, dass mein Mann das Frühstück sehr lecker ist, so dass ich es sehr freue, aber trotz der Arten nicht, bin ich sehr zufrieden mit jedem Frühstück! Leider habe ich keine frische Pfeife gegessen, aber ich habe seit dem Morgen drei auf dem Frühstücksmenü gegessen. Es ist so lecker und lecker. Ich möchte es noch einmal verwenden, wenn ich Japan verlasse!

Conveniently located about halfway between Onomichi and Imabari along the Shimanami Kaido, WAKKA is much more than a halfway stop. Staying here is an experience you won’t forget for a while. Between us we had a cottage and a dome ‘tent’ both with views of the water & the Tatara bridge (across which we had cycled). We opted for the BBQ dinner on our deck & it was wonderful: sashimi appetiser, local seafood, vegetables & meat (amazing steak, boar sausages, chicken) as well as rice, dessert and mint tea! The hospitality here is so warm that we felt immediately welcomed. All the staff were lovely. Reika (from reception) suggested a trip to the local onsen (public bath) and provided a voucher as well as minibus shuttle (10 min way). This was a great experience and good way to relax after a day’s cycling. We enjoyed breakfast sitting on the cafe deck (great coffee) before we set off for another day of cycling. As well as cottages & dome tents, there are dormitory beds for a more economical stay. WAKKA also offers support to cyclists who aren’t staying at the hotel.

Wirklich hervorragende Einrichtungen. Meine Freunde und ich waren so beeindruckt. Bella Vista Spa & Marina Onomichi is a small luxury resort hotel with just 44 total rooms. This area is known for ship building; the original property served as a serviced guest house for people involved in the industry beginning in 1973. The present property was established in 2007, offering rooms with ocean views and a spa. The property grounds is quite vast - it's perched on a hill overlooking the stunning Seto Inland Sea and the Bella Vista Marina at the water's edge. There are walkways throughout that offer nice vantage points by which to appreciate the scenic beauty of this area of Japan. The outdoor terrace stretches directly from the main indoor common area and has uninhibited views of the Seto Inland Sea. In the middle of the terrace is a stretch of water that appears to flow directly into the ocean (even though the Ocean is quite a ways away) - the water is less than 10cm deep and isn't meant for swimming; it's strictly for show, and it's probably the most Instragrammable aspect of the resort. And, especially in the Summer time, you'll have the ability to enjoy the infinity pool as well as partake in numerous activities (both onsite and outside the property), such as a beach BBQ and island hopping. There's also a ribbon chapel on the property grounds that has won numerous design awards, and I'd imagine that it would serve as a wonderful venue for weddings. In the resort itself, there's a nice spa facility as well as three different restaurants serving Sushi, Kaiseki and Basque-inspired cuisine (using local ingredients and recipes.) We stayed in the Panorama Terrace Suite, which was quite large 100m² and the third from the top category room at Bella Vista. The best room is the Bella Vista Maisonette Spa Suite, but we passed on it because we generally avoid Maisonette-style layouts, while The Bella Vista is similar to the Panorama Terrace Suite, except that it has it has an open air bath with a view of the Ocean; The Bella Vista was already booked when we tried to reserve it. While our room was spacious, nicely appointed and clean, it was showing its age somewhat. It could probably benefit from a refurbishment within the next few years, especially given the room rates that they charge here. There is a dearth of power outlets as well, which is further evidence that it was built more than a decade ago. The room has a stand-alone bath tub, but it's not Onsen (natural hot springs.) In fact, there's no longer Onsen anywhere on site - supposedly, Onsen stopped flowing about 7 years ago, and that was that. It's a shame, given that there is ”Spa” in the property's name, but a Japanese Spa resort without Onsen is a bit of a misnomer if you ask me. Not their fault, but them's the facts. Dining wise, Bella Vista offers 3 options - Sushi, Kaiseki and Basque-inspired cuisine. All three of the restaurants serve dishes using the very best of local ingredients from both land and sea. Dong Hiroshima hat eine reichhaltige Kultur und Naturlandschaft, die absolut einen Besuch wert ist. Sie können die historischen Wanderungen, schöne Berge und schöne Strände besuchen und lokales Essen probieren. Dieser Ort ist bequem und kann leicht zu den nahegelegenen Attraktionen und Restaurants gehen. Kurz gesagt, wenn Sie die Chance haben, nach Dong Hiroshima zu kommen, empfehle ich diesen Ort als Ihre Wahl für Ihren Aufenthalt. Es bietet nicht nur einen komfortablen und intimen Service, sondern ermöglicht es Ihnen, diesen schönen Ort bequem zu erkunden.
