Red Roof Inn & Suites Middletown - Franklin

Absolutely would not stay here again or recommend. I normally dont leave a review but since it popped up and asked. For a non smoking hotel it was almost unbearable with all the smoke in the hallways. Ive been in smoking bars with less smoke. When we got to rooms they felt damp, and sheets where dirty and stained. We had to strip beds and take bedding to the front in order to get another set. Not enough towels and they asked for them to be returned (we had to take to desk instead of being brought to room)before you could get more. Staff over all seemed like they were being bothered when we needed anything. I remember back in day red roof being a decent and nice, guess those days are gone. But if the event that brought use there returns we will not be staying there again.

Too much staff onsite to not have a human being at the check in. I found it rude and off putting to have a manager (twice) stare at me while I was checking in, they are just sitting down at the chair in the lobby. I thought the room size was fine however, I could hear every single foot stuff outside my door. I could hear every laugh every bump of the house keeping cart. Getting ready in the morning staff were cleaning rooms before ten am. Very loudly. There was a gap under the door. You could hear everything going on outside. I got to the point I had to turn my music on just to drown out the staff who was walking up and down the hallways all morning before checkout. And yes it was staff walking up and down up and down. The virtual man who checked me in was fine, he was the best part of the experience and he wasn’t even there. not sure what back room he’s being kept in or if he was even close by. Human beings want human interaction for business transactions I will not be staying at this hotel again in future, and will be removing it from my list of places to stay. No more humanless check-ins. If you do have to stay here, ask for a room away from the front desk and preferably on the second floor. I’ve stayed close to the front desk before and never had that much noise.

Rooms dirty beds dirty floor dirty people in parking lot all night catching wifi beating on walls slamming doors all night

Bed bugs/ **** smell/ disgusting Instantly stinks like weeds, when you walk into the hotel. The room makes you feel sick and you start scratching all over you body. The room is covered in bed bugs and numerous other bugs. The pool is disgusting with floating paint chips coming up from the bottom. They are very protective with their towels only allowing you two towels at a time. When i had 3 people in the room. They charge you a crazy cash deposit of 100$ a day. Please do not stay here if you love your family.

Room was sufficient. Pool had dirt in bottom, and pool area wasn’t well-maintained. No elevator, so keep that in mind for accessibility and luggage. Convenient location and good price. Right next to McDonalds.

People are nice, guests are nice as well. Although they are knocking at exactly 11 for check out
