Hotels in der Nähe von Necropolis (ancient cementery), Mértola

Das Hotel ist sehr gut, ideal für einen Wochenendeurlaub und vor allem, wenn Sie in der Nähe des schönen Flusses Guardiana sein wollen. Wir reisen auf der portugiesischen Seite und besuchten Mertola, die ehrlich gesagt ein wenig unterwälzt war, aber als die Straße den Landsitz von Alentejo verließ, wurde die Anerkennung aufgehoben. Das Hotel war leicht zu finden, beeindruckend, auch im Schmutz und sanften Regen, und wir fühlten uns sofort, dass es eine gute Wahl war. Die Rezeption war warm und freundlich und unser Zimmer war substantiell mit allen Einrichtungen, sehr sauber und gut vorbereitet und hatte einen schönen Blick auf den Pool. Die Beobachtungsstelle war unter Umstellung; der Spielraum in der Bibliothek war gut zu haben, obwohl es ziemlich kalt war. Wir kamen am Sonntag Abend an - das Restaurant war offen mit einem verständlich begrenzten Menü. Eine von uns ist ein Fisch-Vegetarier, und es ist unsere Schuld, dass wir nichts konnten sitzen und nichts in dem Dorf offen finden. Aber es war unsere Schuld. Haben wir vorgelaufen. Wir würden glücklich wieder besuchen. Das Frühstück war groß und gut, aber außer Pancakes, nichts heiß.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay here very much. The room and bathroom were both very spacious. They did feel a bit outdated though, but that was part of the charm. The bed was quite hard though, so the sleep quality wasn't optimal. Our room had a small terrace with a lovely view: ideal to enjoy the warm summer evening and very practical to dry your swimsuit and towels. We really enjoyed the quiet location of the hotel and the beautiful views on the Spanish hills on the other side of the river Guadiana. The hotel staff was very friendly and although we arrived to early they let us into the room before check-in time. We booked a boat ride in the hotel, which was the highlight of our stay. The captain of the boat turned out to be a gentleman from the Netherlands and offered us the opportunity to steer the boat for a while. We really had a great time! The swimming pool is big enough to cool down after a hot day. We didn't succeed in conquering one of the sunbeds (we didn't mind, we only went there for a swim), so if you like relaxing by the pool, make sure to arrive at the moment the pool opens. The food and drinks in the bar are good. The dishes are simple, but tasty and the wine was poured very generously. I have to complement the cook the prepared the English breakfast. I loved every bit of it!
