The Vobster Inn

Beautiful location, amazing room for families - double bed, fits two put up beds plus a sofa bed. Staff are friendly, helpful & great fun. Several different options for staying in if you fancy being a bit different. Really close to Longleat.

We had a great two night stay at the Vobster Inn, in February. The rooms are good for a B&B standard. Plenty of heating which was lovely for the cold nights. Rooms had tea and instant coffee and a functioning tv. Breakfast was served in the pub. You could order anything off the menu (hand in the order the night before) and the food was great. We did not eat or drink at the pub aside from breakfast. A good base to explore the lovely local area and we would not hesitate to stay here again.

What a beautiful place we found almost by accident. A colleague of mine booked us a few nights away for an install in a local village. When we arrived we had a very simple check in of grabbing our keys from “Sheddy McShedface” and made our way to our rooms. Once settled we made our way to the bar area for some dinner. This is where we met Peta. What a wonderful woman. Very friendly and welcoming. A superb dinner later and a few ciders down and we’re already booking our breakfast. Dippy eggs to die for. Local pubs in the area very nice, you may even find a very friendly local to chat with about the area and maybe even someone to …ignore you and not come and say hello even thought they see you! Lovely place, lovely rooms, lovely food, large selection of bottled drinks and even better company and surroundings. What could be better! Mike&Steve. Optimum Golf.

We visited family locally, our accommodation was very clean , warm and the bed was extremely comfortable. Shower was powerful and hot . Everything we needed was there in our room . The breakfast was a very good quality. The only thing we would say is on the standard breakfast there was meat and eggs , but after speaking to our host this was soon rectified.
