Stopped here while on a fishing trip. We have used this hotel on several occasions in the past. The overall stay this year was considerably better. In particular the staff were particularly welcoming and friendly which was not the case last time. The food is excellent and well priced. The cost to stay has gone up quite a bit but I guess that's just a sign of the times. We'll definitely return.

What a fairy tale hotel with all the elegance and grandeur of an historic house. A lovely warm welcome by the staff. Be sure to have a room overlooking the estuary as we were lucky to have. The views are breathtaking. The hotel is very well located for all attractions of the region the National Trust properties either side of the Menai Bridge are not to be missed. The restaurant food was exquisite and worth the visit. The dining room in the basement does not equal the other rooms but the food was worth it. Only recommendations to the hotel would be the addition of towelling robes in the rooms. Highly recommend this hotel.

A fantastic meal , great service and a warm welcome the minute we walked through the door. We were very looked after by Adam, a super friendly & polite chap that clearly loves his job. He's a great ambassador for the Victoria hotel. I enjoyed a deliscous steak cooked to perfection and from our seat by the window were able to watch the sailing ships on the Menai strait.
