Barahi Jungle Lodge

I came to Barahi as part of a National Geographic tour of Nepal. I was blown away. I have traveled extensively, all around the globe, and Barahi is my favorite place I've ever stayed. The jungle lodge backs up to the Chitwan National Park, so the surroundings are completely natural and beautiful. The lodge itself is absolutely beautiful. Crafted with beautiful design and the scents of essential oils. The villas are amazing and soooo comfortable. I am very impressed with the natural, not artificial, quality of the entire lodge. I challenge you to find any plastic at this lodge. After scouring the villa I could only find plastic on the hair dryer and the thermalcell. THAT'S IT! The food was absolutely incredible. The best we had in Nepal. The staff was absolutely incredible. So kind, so helpful. Extremely attentive. I wish I had gotten more of their names. Govinda Thanait is the resident naturalist and we spent some wonderful time with him spotting rhino in Chitwan on our jeep safari! 4 rhinos in one morning! Plus we had a wonderful breakfast in the jungle. How fun! There are lots of activities at this lodge. We did a cool river cruise which ended with a bar and snacks just off the bank while we watched the sunset. And bonus, you can see the Himalayas from the river! Just gorgeous! The nightly dance performances were wonderful and very interesting. At the end you're asked to join in which is really fun! Plus, we had dinner one night on the bank of the river by torch light....absolutely magical! My Mom had a birthday while we were at the lodge. The staff all came out and played instruments and sang and had a cake for her. It was so beautiful and touching....a number of us cried. That was so special. I will never forget it. We only had two days here and I needed a week. I really hope to get back here some day and spend some more time. I loved everything about this lodge! 10 stars!!!

This is a beautiful hotel with excellent service. The rooms are large and the view from my balcony was spectacular. Saw sunrise which was spectacular. They have golf cart to take you around if you don’t want to walk. There were 2 nights of local culture celebrated through singing and dancing. The pool is wonderful, well stocked bar. Restaurant serves fresh food prepared well. Special thanks to Tej, food and beverage manager and server, Netraman. Krishna and Alina assisted with activities, and Alina did yoga with me. Had 2 massages from Suzana in the spa and they were fantastic.

Great service and hospitality !! Highly recommended. The team truly goes above and beyond to ensure that your experience is unique. Never seen anything quite like that! The park was close but the team organized several experiences in the forest close to the entrance! The guide Tek was amazing, very passionate !

We came here for 3 nights in May on our first visit to Nepal and after trekking in Annapurna. It is such a beautiful and calm oasis - a fabulous place to enjoy all Chitwan has to offer. The hospitality and service were second to none. The staff were all attentive, friendly, always smiling and seemed to anticipate every need - we felt very well looked after, with Nepali hospitality that felt genuine and welcoming. We also loved the commitment to the environment, sustainability and the local area, so important. We had booked a package with 5 activities and our guide Rajesh was superb- very knowledgeable and went the extra mile to ensure we enjoyed all the activities. It felt like being out with a very knowledgeable friend. We had a sundowner boat trip, a walking safari, 2 jeep safaris and a village tour, which we chose to do on bicycles - a great way of seeing village life and meeting locals. We saw so much wildlife and birds and the scenery in the park is spectacular. We were blown away. Huge thanks to Rajesh and the other guides and driver, Govinder, who made the activities so special and memorable. The food was excellent and plentiful and we enjoyed a variety of dishes. The candlelit "bush dinner" on our first night was very special. Sadly we didn't make it to the spa - too much else to do! Would highly recommend Barahi and hope to make it back one day.

Our stay with Barahi Jungle lodge recently was great ! Although it was off season and weather a bit hot. There was no compromise on their service and hospitality. Suddicha ( our tour guide) gave us a very smooth tour. Despite density of vegetation this time of year she managed to spot quite a lot .

Everything is good and the staff are friendly and kind. Food is delicious , Tej Thanait ( food and beverage manager of barahi ) He is so kind and attentive. Services are best .Environment is natural and cultural based. Overall, the best place to enjoy your holiday.

What a wonderful place to stay in Chitwan National Park. Accomodation are really precious and well hand made. Food is great and you could have international breakfast and meals. Lot of things you can do: jeep safari, boat safari, dance with tipical native dancers, and lot more!

It’s completely Wow experience! Eco friendly stay have EV AC Charger ! Food is excellent view is also mesmerising Mr.Tej have done the excellent hospitality! The best part is all staffs are helping nature and make sure the comfortable stay
